I myself have a problem...morning sickness for the past two years. Nobody can figure it out.Frustrating, isn't it? I hope you can work out your problem soon!
@Illuminatta Sorry to hear that Toni. The pills seem to be doing a pretty good job on their own I've hardly had any indigestion during the day though did push it yesterday with a massive takeaway Indian meal! Cheers, Lesley
@Illuminatta Joe and I have been married 12 years it was our anniversary and the kids were with grandma, so we treated ourselves to something we can't share with them - spicy! Worked out pretty well too. L
@NaturalTwentyFilms Thanks, I was very, very brave finally after procrastinating for so long! The pills seem to be helping lots or maybe my symptoms are taking a break, it's hard to say after only 3 days. Cheers, Lesley
I'll know now to exclude fizzy water from pre-test fasting if it ever comes up.....
I've done those tests, plus the little camera down the throat in the tummy, and barium from the other end! and they told me it was stress. I think I was more stressed about the tests. Fingers crossed for the best of all possible results shorty! hehehe
@LeSaMilano I am definitely much worse when I'm stressed but I still have the problem when I'm having a ball. I'm under no illusions that this may be a lengthy period of ruling things out and trying things to see if they work. Thanks for the finger crossing it all helps! Cheers, Lesley
Hope they find out what is causing your discomfort and have a solution soon. I know how stressfull waiting for results can be. Your symptoms sound like gallbladder disease or ulcers. I have suffered both, and both were treated sucessfully. Good luck wishing you a speedy recovert.
@hippygram Thanks, the Dr doesn't think gall bladder because I'm not tender at all and there's no sign of blood so I don't think it's ulcers. I'll keep everyone posted and it's great to hear from people who are successfully out the other side with positive treatment. Cheers, Lesley
@timido66 I'm trying to be a good role model for the kids, so they don't get any fears passed on to them. But it would have been ghastly if I'd lost the plot and run screaming into the waiting room with a syringe stuck in my arm!! Cheers, Lesley
I have blood tests every three months for my diabetes... It has become a routine thing. I hope you get to the bottom of your problem soon... Ten years is a long time for things to not be right.
@phekwig Yes there is a lot you have to routinely go through with diabetes. Ten years is a long time when I think about it, I've been too busy to really think! Cheers, Lesley
@OhCurt We both know that will not happen but thanks for joining me in my 1940's delusion! Ah Matey hearing your strong voice just before I left for the tests was the best thing, doesn't matter we haven't met in the flesh, we've met with spirit and intellec.t I truly value your friendship. No pressure -but I may stalk you to tickle my funny bone! L x
I'm so sorry to hear you're not feeling well, and I hope the doctor(s) are able to relieve things and make you better. Take care, Lesley! Patricia

I'm glad you were brave, the kids would have been traumatised if you weren't. I hope they can fix you up quickly.
