This is way overdone. Have you noticed how their faces only ripple during the replays, and not during actual gameplay. But anyways, their faces flow like water. It doesn't look too good.

well the anwser to that is long, but ill keep it short. In reality if someone filmed a person getting punched with High FPS video camera, playing it in slow motion would actually show the same results that you see on this video. The reason why you cant see the ripples in normal is because our eyes can only capture about 24 frames per second (or somewhere around 20 i believe). It does seem kinda weird in slow motion but the, developers pretty much got the physics on point lol.
