  • It's like you're actually there!

  • Ever tried modulating your speed to play tunes?

  • Lol hated this you could not over take a thing as your car was the size of the track!!!!

  • i remember this game

  • The graphics were good on this for the Amstrad at the time. But the gameplay was rubbish.

  • The BBC sound chip was so more primitive than commodores!

  • Yeah, its a shame really. The C64 has a synth chip (SID), the BBC has to make do the same chip found in the NES, Master System, Atari ST etc.

Although there is a Music 500 addon that has an 8 channel programmable stereo synth. One day I'll upload a video, sounds a lot better than the C64, but is cheating really ;)

  • It sounds like a deranged electronic bumble bee.

The General Instruments AY sound chip in the Beeb, Speccy 128+ and Amstrad CPC was actually capable of some really good stuff and music, if programmed properly. Although engine sounds and tyre squeals was obviously not its strong points.

The Commodore SID chip was indeed far superior though, and could make some quite convincing engine sounds, plus some really awesome music

  • LOL.How dare you compare Atari 800 or NES sound chip to BBCs or Atari ST?!

They were different sound chips and Atari 800 or NES chips were not primitive, just write in youtube "Journey to Sillius", I hate this SID C64 fetishism, sure it was good but its sound always sounds the same and yeah a lot of NES and A8 titles had bad sound and music but its just because the developers were lazy and did not utilize the full capabilities of them.

  • Hehe laughable graphics but the the difficulty is anything but B)

  • I had this game - shite

  • Revs was a lot better, at least it hat the concept of using the racing line and adjusting downforce. 3d grand prix was just like overdrive but with a few bends chucked in for a joke.

  • OM;G i had this game for PC it was soo coool when iw as a litle dude one of the first games i ever played.

  • HEHE yeah, if you pause it on the credits screen "created by Mick O'Neill"

  • cool! how old was he when he made it?

  • hey, my dad made this game ! we dont have a micro anymore tho. god my dad is old!

  • @elhef hey, well that makes two of us - my dad worked with yours on this game, Dave Mendes.

  • @cmendes11 Well what a small and strange world!

  • Theres a mosquito in the cockpit

  • XD good one.
