I wouldn't worry about if I were you. You said yourself that the SCD Diet has helped your symptoms. So, you've been doing a normal diet for the majority of your life and scd diet a measily 4 years? It'd probably take more than that to not show any sign of inflammation. Go for your next colonoscopy within 10 years and then see how it looks.
Thank you so much for sharing your difficult experience. I'm lucky in that I'm 39 and have only been diagnosed for a year. Even though I can look back and identify symptoms before that, it was almost nice not to know... I was devastated with the diagnosis of Crohn's, especially since my doc gave me only the worse case scenario with meds as the ONLY intervention. I'm learning a lot from vlogs like yours and hope you keep posting!
I'm curious about your current condition. According to your blog, you say you have been in remission for over a year, but according to the colonoscopy you aren't in remission. If you are still having ulcerations and strictures, isn't it a HUGE danger to be going off of the diet?
Before I had the colonoscopy I thought that I was in remission - I had no symptoms and my SED rate was 2. From the colonoscopy I found that I was asymptomatic instead and changed my blog to reflect that. I am not going off the diet. At this point I am 90-95% SCD legal - no more than 1 illegal meal a week. I still consider it experimental, but don't think it's more than a small risk at this point as I'm still eating SCD yoghurt and keeping track of how I feel.

My condition is very good. No symptoms at all unless I eat an illegal. Even then the reaction is fairly mild and short lived.
