  • There was one episode where the Great Ballentine hypnotized & tried to levitate Marie ... Awesome !! Damn i wish I could find that episode :(

  • Donny did actually leave her in the box and walk off stage and she had to sing while in the box. If you read his book he actually did it while they were on stage in Las Vegas not on their TV show (Marie and his father got very mad at him for it). They just show it in the movie as happening on their TV show because there are time constaints in movies so they combine events and make them one.

  • @jwindyboy

    No.....

  • Love this one <33

  • Marie was a great zigzag victim. I like how he tickled her.

  • she sounds like shes having the biggest O everrr hahaha

  • quite possibly she didn't realise that; many people who might honestly profess considerable sexual experience have never heard a feamle orgasm

  • i was joking...

  • Is the best number of zig zag never i saw. The perfomance is faultless. The women is explendid, and marvel. The Blades are really and not like now that be toys. Impresionatet me. Brave.

  • was the movie segment of this really a lie or did they cut out the part where he left her in there in the actual show?

  • I don't know I looked for it wondering about it myself, but I do know that at least the part about Donny writing letters to come home is true because he talked about it in an interview and started getting very upset, though I don't know if his mother ever got the letters because he said his father found out about it before he sent it and wasn't happy.

  • I know I did see that clip somewhere on you tube, but at that time I really thought it was ment to be that, and later I never saw it again, so surpriced to see her get out fast here. If I remember correctly, Donnie even left stage, and she was calling for him, and just had to sing a song still trapped in the box.

  • I remember watching this in the movie version.

  • @luvrof70s they did this trick numerous times. it's written in Donny's autobiography that they showed the clip of him leaving her in there

  • There was one episode when she was levitated - That was AWESOME !!

  • they lied in the movie wen they said that he left her in there

  • For some reason, there's a split-second delay on the speech/video.

  • I saw the TV Movie where he leaves her in the box so I had to find the clip to see if it was true. That's the cheesy thing about TV Movie "dramatizations" one thing being drama and another thing being a lie.

Did they really need to dramatize the box? I think the original skit it much better than the crappy TV movie skit.

  • I know, I was looking for the same thing. Too bad, leaving her in there would have been way funnier.

  • I was looking for the same thing. I'm disappointed that they lied like that in the TV movie. So stupid. I was looking forward to seeing him leave her in the box. lol

  • Yeah, me too!

  • he did leave her in the box. they retaped it -- but she was there in the box with the live audience.

  • Oh really? So they just retaped it, huh? Too bad, I think it would have been funny to leave it.

  • I think donny felt bad about it and they didn't want to leave it in.

  • very true, this is depicted in the movie "inside the osmonds".Donny decided to make marie the but of the joke and left her in the box to sing"paper roses".what is intresting is that behind all the smiles and fun donny and marie were miserable their relationship was strained beyond all measure, marie came close to a nervous break because of the pressures of having to maintain her gorgeous figure for the ratings, donny became depressed over his having to portray the clown and dummy everyweek

  • Yep, its a little known fact Marie was hospitalized in the late 70's for exhaustion, and it was that, but was very mental as well. I know because 1 of my friends was a nurse at Utah Valley Hospital (now Utah REgional Medical Center) and she was Marie's nurse. She (my friend)got so mad when people would barge in on her bringing her scripts to memorize.

  • Marie looked great in the zigzag. She really played up being "nervous". Nice presentation!

  • I know, huh.

  • i want that illusion.

  • i want that man........

  • lovveeee marie :)

  • Either she was genuinely nervous throughout the whole trick. Or, she's a better actress than most people give her credit for! Either way; it was a great trick. And, thanks for enhancing my sense of nostalgia by sharing this clip.

  • ROFL!!!

  • Grande illusione vecchiotta ma presentata in maniera molto simpatica! Complimenti.

  • great presentation - professional in attitude if not always technique. Any more clips of them doing magic?

  • ur so rude

  • i kno this is funny

  • I completely forgot this skit! Thanks for sharing. Although, I'm a little disappointed he didn't use that classic line: "I've always wanted two half-sisters."

  • he did:P

at the end he says: Well, I guess I'd be preforming with my two half sisters:P

  • I stand corrected. Although, truth to tell, it sounded more like he said "...new half-sister." Lol!

  • lol omg. too funny. I love Donny!!! And Marie :)

  • it kinda sounds like an orgasim! but i love em!!! they are funny

  • they are freakin FUNNNY

  • they both are sooooooo cute!!!

  • love this clip! guys I sure do not feel much older you know but I am.

  • I love these clips from the Donny and Marie show. I want to see some clips of Jimmy though. Even though Jimmy danced and sang with everything possible I would still love to see them.

  • Do you have videos where Donnie is a "superhero", that brag about his good qualities as a superhero but never rescue the victim? if you have them please post them. Thanks.

  • this part was in the tv movie inside the osmonds where he leaves her as paper roses comes on

  • When I was a little kid in the 80s, I remembered the Donny and Marie show was in syndication on Nick at Nite. I don't remembered what year it was shown on Nick at Nite, but this was the first time I was introduce to Donny and Marie. I only remembered that part and nothing else from their shows. Thanks for bringing back the memories.

  • Ok, never mind :)

  • Have yu got the whole clip of where Donny is being the great Osmondo?
