I still think REmake trounces all of them. The original RE safe room was a creepy enough tune, the REmake reminded you that although you're safe for now, there's stuff outside the room that wants to eat you.

I have been playing RE since if first came out on the original PSX. With that being said, Resident Evil 4 is one of the greatest games ever made and is just as good as the old games. The corporations arent "pushing veterans aside while 15 year old fanboys determine what you play"

@Grudgeman True, true...I have to say, the first game I played was RE4 and I liked it, but I was confused, I had always heard that the series was horror-survival, and RE4 was just action. Then I played this game, Code Veronica, and I loved it, the horror-survival is what makes the game fun and exciting, having less than enough ammo is more fun than having more than enough, you know?

@B00glefop On the contrary, DC was very well done, but the CV segment seemed cut too short (made up for it though by the humor)and focused solely on the RE2 segment of the whole game. Yeah OJ was good, but the Krauser missions just seemed thrown in without thought. Pre-RE4 or not, they should have put more effort into the game!
