I met Rob Little, Tommy Emmanuel's bassist in Billy Hyde music in Melbourne today. Had a great talk with him, and he said that Tommy is touring next year with the band! How great, can't wait.

Hey ubernaffa.....I WAS there and it was unbelieveably mindblowing enourmously fantastic and powerful show I;ve ever seen by anyone......and the BEST show I;ve seen him do, and I;ve seen a few now...shame it wasnt professionally recorded!...and when he played the electric in that show it was bloody HUGE.......

He made an album called "Classical Gas" back in 97 with the Australian Phillamonic. It has this in it's fullness. (slower though).

Interesting to see - very enjoyable but I prefer to see Tommy playing alone, just the guitar and his genius. After all the man is a symphony orchestra all on his own!
