He sounds like this after playing for only 3 years?????? Dang, I've been playing for 15 years and I can count the number of times I've sounded like this on one hand...if you take away the thumb and 2 fingers... :)

this is amazing. i'm 13 also and playing this for a solo festival and will probably never sound like this. i've got the andante section down pretty well, but it's a very challenging piece. does anyone know what solo level this would be?

This is amazing and amazingly freaky. I play clarinet and we're the same age. You reached this level in two years! We both started when we were ten and you were here when we were twelve. I'm almost at this level but it took me seven years and you're already known and have competed in international competitions. I'm soo going to practice hard so I'll nail my college auditions and when I start to get known bc I'm majoring in music performance with the clarinet, I hope we'll cross paths.

@BleachGeassbandiegrl Same! I was born in 1992, actually started playing clarinet when I was about 8. I didn't touch this piece till high school. Now that I'm a college freshman I'm still not up to par with Narek. Isn't it scary how someone of the same age and experience can surpass you in so many ways?

@caratheclarinet yeah! I didn't touch it until freshman year of high school and I played it again senior year but it still wasn't this good. I started playing clarinet when I was 9. I'm a college freshman as well and was born in 1992. I go to Kutztown University. :)
