  • this is gay as hell just like everything else from dario argentino

  • the soundtrack of this movie is played by Keith Emerson and not by the Goblin or Demonia

  • just saw inferno yesterday its not as good as suspiria.

  • beautiful, simonetti the best

  • This needs an 8-bit version.

  • Bellissimo..................................

  • i must say id rather have my ear drums blown up than listen to this music

  • Teil 2 der Trilogie...Hammermässig

  • I can dig this. And it would be a good ringtone!!

  • im sorry but this movie is overall bad ass, regardless if it is not as good as suspiria. i mean the ending is fucking weird and totaly unexpected. it is not a normal movie.

  • perfect as ringtone!

  • @benre oh HELL YES!! plus i just discovered my mum has the movie on dvd im gonna watch it right now

  • Who composed this? It's pretty sweet!

  • @MordaciousFilms Keith Emerson of the progressive rock bands The NICE and Emerson, Lake and Palmer.

  • Love the end credits...less sure about the film, Suspiria was better!

  • by Keith Emerson (of ELP fame)

  • Dario Argento=GOD!

  • this soundtrack always remind me to castlevania

  • wath a masterpiece of music and movie ! just watched , awesome !!!

  • can anybody say who are the women on this video i didn't see them on film.

  • @unholy182000 Those women are in Mother of Tears.

  • @farmvilleisgay fine then. I'll stop messing with you and as a side note I'll even apologize and disregard my past comments.

  • @farmvilleisgay You're doing that on your own. I didn't have to do much of anything.

  • @farmvilleisgay You can't use the word retard because it comes from the word retardation which means mentally ill. Meaning that I know more of the word than you do... So you fail at trolling and choosing your words. But don't worry I still pitty you and your one track mind.

  • @farmvilleisgay Funny that my comments do not over use: gay, homosexual and cock in them. Well at least one of us in this comment archive is straight. And that is sad of you to use crocodiles as a death sure wish. That's how people who fell victim to Katrina died. Now you're making fun of people who got killed by crocodiles. Shame on you.

  • @farmvilleisgay You still went to the video regardless. The comment section of the video you called gay. That still makes you gay regardless of what excuse you use. Oh but feel free to call me whatever lifestyle you wish. But I do wonder about you calling me homosexual and gay because the two are the same so doesn't that make you ignorant a bit? Don't you find it funny you deny you're trolling yet you continue to come back to reply to me even though you could ignore me?

  • @farmvilleisgay But you came back to this video practically hearing part of the song in order to reply to my comment. Doesn't that make you gay? And you need to get better at trolling because frankly your work is primitive.

  • @farmvilleisgay The horror movies you watch actually suck. Overused story boards, broken plots, little bit of crappy acting and not to mention tid bits of some sexual scenes to spice up a horrid movie. Sorry but that is how bad the movies you watch are. It's actually true. Hollywood is getting lazy. That's why the classics are still around. "When all else fails go back to the classics." Besides movies today are just about explosions and how much gore they can add to it.

  • @farmvilleisgay Bill Hicks reference.

  • @farmvilleisgay Well, aren't you a nice guy!

  • Can someone tell me where I can find the lyrics of this song? Thanks

  • @farmvilleisgay This was composed by Keith Emerson of Emerson, Lake and Palmer. At least they can make music, unlike douchebags like you. And I don't know about farmville but you are definitely gay LOL

  • Comment removed

  • @farmvilleisgay Saw sucks. You can't even compare the Saw movies to Argento's art!

  • SUSPIRIORUM, LACRYMARUM, TENEBRARUM!!!

  • La treza madre was awesome, one of my favorite horror films of all time. I just want you to know that some people like it. Lol @ mother fucker, props!

  • i`m in deep love with argento`s movies and with goblin` s music.

  • gran pezzo !!!

  • Awesome theme song. One of my favorite horror movies too!

  • The third one wasn't too bad. It just had kind of a lame ending, and the colors weren't as dream like. The music was pretty good, but every time I heard "mother" I thought it was gonna continue on with 'fucker'. I kinda liked the thing with the girl being a white witch but her Mother's ghost guiding her was beyond lame.

  • @KristusHedin You know, I don't totally dispise that movie. It started off very raw and shocking. That scene where the Satanists were chasing Asia Argento was pretty creepy and as Argento promised in an early interview, it was the most violent of the trilogy, but that silly Daria Nicolodi ghost-guide and the ridiculous ending just spoiled it. If Argento had made this in the 80s (maybe after Phenomena), it would have rocked.

  • i much prefer this music to suspira this is bloddy awsome suspira is very good music in its own right bu i love this music to bits best horror director that ever lived jogn carpenter and all the others got nothing on this guy

  • fans of this may want to hear JA Seazer's work

  • Yeah, I must unfortunately say The Mother of Tears was a dissappointment, at least for me :( I think it resembles too much other horror films of today and thus is not as original as other Argento's films.

  • the third one was bad? Didn't Dario Argento direct it? :o

  • I freaking love this song, but the movie...its a little sketchy. Granted I came in at "HELP! I'm Being eaten by rats!" (best line EVER, by the way), and it was the '80s...but i was assured the movie was in fact Very good. Never seen suspiria, but when net flix is back up, that'll be the first.

  • what a fun soundtrack i look forward to checking the movie out =D

  • I don't see why they have to remake Suspiria, it's perfect the way it is. Inferno had so much potential, but it was a huge let down - most likely due to Dario being sick while filming. But still, if the right person was behind it, a remake of Inferno could be the sequel everyone wished we had.

  • Keith Emerson fucking rules!

  • the best horror director on this planet his films are not film there art pore class art i love darios work he knows how 2 2 the business wen it comes 2 horror films

  • @TheMusicman12ize I second that :D

  • Dario is also pretty much the reason that Suspiria was ever made as well, she wrote the majority of the script and the idea really came from here head as she knew someone who went to a school(which is open today but she can't name for her friends safety) which secretly studied witchcraft and when she found out she ran away.

  • did u guys know that Daria wrote a script for the third film in the 80's and they where in the process of sorting effects etc out but then the relationship between Dario and Daria went sour and it never happened. because of an argument we now have to live with - i'm sorry Dario - the piece of shit which is 'mother of tears'. It could have been so amazing and would have been made over 20 years ago (lets pray there is a prequel or remake of the third someday and that Daria is heavily involved)

  • execent..very good..forever emerson

  • execent..very good..forever emerson

  • why does this say suspiria in it if its for inferno but i know it is from the inferno ost tho

  • @AlbaanmorSKR the song is singing the names of 'the three mothers' if you listen you will hear them: Mater Suspiriorum, Tenebrarum and Lachrymarum.

  • śmierć !!!

  • Awesome Keith Emerson score, why no one asks him to score more films i don't get.

  • The Mother of Tears was destroyed because her dress was destoryed. That

is soooo stupid! The movie was stylish and surreal and good until the stupid "climax". lol

  • @compsciguy agree !!!!

  • dario argento- what can i say about argento-"MASTERPIECE" great director

  • the suspiria soundtrack was so distinctive they just had to go a different direction for the sequel - and i think it turned out just fine.

  • @alanlovedog same here i though the sequel was just as great

  • @CrazyDiamond007 C'è tanta gente ignorante...tra l'altro Emerson era presente anche alla prima assoluta del film avvenuta qui a Roma

  • AWESOME song. I love how it includes mention of each of the Three Mothers. Where could one pick this song up?

  • 70's cheesy pop+ church organ+opera=somehow catchy and somehow sounds like queens bohemian rhapsody at some parts

  • i wish dario had finished the three mothers during his golden period. tenebre was good but imagine how awesome the mother of tears had been if it had been done instead of tenebre... =]

  • But this theme isnt terrefiyng! it sounds more kickass than fearsome.

  • While Suspiria's theme is awesome and really epic...this one just blows it out of the water for me. You can turn this up at night and raise demons from hell. This theme is so damn demonic.

  • Molto bella ma tra le colonne sonore della trilogia delle tre madri la migliore è quella di suspiria, comunque anche questa è fantastica

  • ohhhhh!!!!

    very very like music&movie!!!!

    three mothers!!

    dario's movie first seen

  • Mater sospiriorum, lacrimarum, tenebrarum

    domine domine dominorum!

    Great

  • I liked Inferno, but I think the ending could have been better. I wanted to see more of the Mother of Darkness as well. Not enough screen time on her part. Music and coloring was great, and I love the Lucifer-like white cat.

  • Creepy Shit

  • I LOVE Suspiria and Inferno. Such fantastically Gothically wonderworks by Argento!

  • Horrorsoundtracks...that poster on the video is beautiful. Did you arrange that print? It's awesome. :)

  • has some one notest but in the song the say tenebratom and dario argentos nexst film was tenembra

  • It's actually "Tenebrarum". The choir is chanting the names of the Three Mothers: "Suspiriorum! Lachymarum! Tenebrarum!" :)

  • keith eheheheh

    emerson lake n palmer forever

  • Suspiria : masterpiece !!!

    Inferno : masterpiece !!!

La terza madre : absolut shit... what a shame...

  • Esseray - Agreed

The third mother didn't have the colors, sounds and all the stuff that makes Argento's movies his. I was really hoping that Mater Lacrimarum was like her sisters.

  • @LettuceIsASedative8 argento totally made her seem like the most powerful one and all they needed to do was burn her dress... smh.

  • I, in fact think The mother of tears, or La Terza Madre was quite good, though nothing compared to Suspiria and inferno, since, as you say, they are in fact masterpieces.. but saying it was absolute shit is wrong in my opinion ;)

Though i did miss all the colors.. ah well..

  • Let's not forget about the terrific Profondo Rosso.

  • of course but we were talking about the three mothers trilogy :o)

  • Yes. I'm aware of that and thanks for the update.

  • inferno : undemind masterpeace

  • @esseray la terza madre and inferno is the same movie what d u mean by that?

  • @decameron80 actually La Terza Madre is Mother of Tears (the third in the Three Mothers Trilogy)

  • @primarylotus101

    Infatti fa piangere quel film

  • @Faximusy sorry, i dont understand that :S

  • @primarylotus101 Infact that film make crying

  • @esseray

I would categorize Mother of Tears as slightly enjoyable, but man was that a huge dropoff in quality.

  • @esseray

Suspiria's superb - a real classic (please DON'T got through with a remake!!).

Inferno - hit and miss. It looks and sounds great, and it has moments as good as Argento's ever filmed, but doesn't gel as a whole and it really cops out at the end.

La Terza Madre - Got to agree there. Its main problem is that it totally lacks any style. If I didn't know any better, this could easily have been one of Fulci's shitty latter-day gore epics, like DEMONIA.

  • @esseray Have not seen La terza madre yet, but I love Suspiria & Inferno. But is it really THAT bad? :D

  • @esseray Yeah terza madre, didn't have that dark, mean, mysterious look to it like the first two movies did.

It was badly shot and had that look of a modern low budget feeling to it.

  • @MrHorrorking13 They tried to turn it into a slick modern production, but instead drew attention to the lack of budget and resorted to cheap gimmicks.

That was what made the Giallo films so brilliant. They were low-budget, the acting and effects were so-so, but the prog rock music and colorful cinematography more than made up for it.

  • this is like

    death rock

    like cabaret

    cool

  • KEITH EMERSON REGNA!!!

  • Finalmente ho capito a cosa si è ispirato Turilli per Prophet Of The Last Eclipse.

D'altra parte non è la prima volta che i Rhapsody rendono omaggio alle musiche dei film di Dario Argento...

  • This song kicks ass!

If i'm not mistaken its Track # 13 "Mater Tenebrarum" on the Inferno Soundtrack.

  • Okay, you got a point there. It's not the actual main title, but it's a piece taken from Inferno and made into an epic synth track. It's basically a theme that goes through the movie. The video description doesn't claim it to be Inferno, just a theme.

  • ok...but inferno it's another song...;-))

  • You are right! When I saw the movie and listening to this particular song, I wanted to buy the collection At The Movies, by Keith Emerson. He is a genius :)

  • I REALLY want to learn how to play this song and make it a bit heavier and play it live, like an orchestra + a metal band, that would be mighty!

  • You will really get it,biffen89!!

    This is a great theme.

  • omg, fucking awesome! XD

  • What the weird.

  • I LOVE THIS!!!!!

  • i love this classic!

  • I really like the drums in this song. It makes it even more great.

  • semplicemente divina!

  • What about Mother of Tears theme...MooottHHHEER moothher!! Creepy! Like Jason Voorhees calling to his mom! Yikes!

  • LOLLLOOO

  • Assolutamente sublime !

  • both satanic and danceable. epic win.

  • Assolutamente sublime !

  • i agree whith esseray

  • I love both suspiria and inferno but i was really disapointed by "la terza madre" which sucks !! what did you do Dario ? are you kidding ? filming is bad, acting is bad !! no scarry at all and you didn't kept the style of the 2 other movies (with the red blue and green lights !!!!)

  • well... what we could expect when someone tries to complete trilogy 30 years after the first part :)))

    i haven't seen "terza madre"

  • so true. monther of tears was completely diffrent then the 1st two films. Hear about the remake of suspiria? The original was amazing and unique.

  • i think i have heard about it,but we all know what happens when someone is remaking a masterpiece...

  • Non male...chiaramente influenzato da Carl Orf

  • Great film, its like a literal nightmare and dispenses with things like logic (I mean that in a good way). The best scene is at the beginning where the woman is is a bizarre room with pipes that don't seem to go anywhere or do anything and she climbs into a hole in the floor into an underwater opera theatre. So surreal and nightmarish that I think it just beats Suspiria.

  • besides the death scenes inferno was a big let down.

  • Am I the only one who thinks Inferno is a better movie than suspiria and that this song kicks ass??

    =S

  • Inferno IS the three mothers trilogy.

    Susperia pales in comparison.

  • "suspiria pales in comparison"

let me laugh hard at that...haha

  • Welcome to the Argento's nightmare! and...

  • DARIO ARGENTO, Horror 70s 80s all them inspires me and is the best!

  • Incorrect, Suspiria came out in 1977 and took place in a ballet academy, while Inferno came out in 1980 and took place mostly in an old apartment building in New York. Suspiria is the first and Inferno is the second in the Three Mothers trilogy.

  • yeah, i know that, but what i mean is that Inferno and Suspiria were about the same theme and both are about the same theme, and have the same atmosphere

  • methinks you fucked up captain

  • i think this is on piratebay

  • Love this song

  • This is an incredible and fascinating music score to Dario Argento's 1980 horror film. Composer Keith Emerson's electronic, operatic theme is sensational. I haven't seen the movie but I did order it on DVD. Two questions: What's your overall opinion on the film and are there members from Goblin involved on the Inferno soundtrack? I was curious. Thank you HorrorSoundtracks for this outstanding audio posting. Happy Halloween!

  • Suspiria is a better film than Inferno... but this music is just so badass.

  • Best theme of the three mothers trilogy. Check out Mother of Tears recently released on DVD!

  • i head bang to this lol

  • Wow... cool theme! satanic and danceable...

  • lol i'd pay good money to see you dancing to this!

  • maybe if you were into "interpretive dance"....but F#ck, it would be hilarious to see all the emos getting down to this on the dance floor!!!

  • Well, to be honest, I prefer "Inferno" than "Suspiria".

  • I'm with you there. I love Suspiria also but I rank Inferno slightly higher.

  • This is my favourite out of all the Dario Argento film themes.

  • Me too. :)

  • This and several other great sountracks can be found in a set of 3 torrents called "Masters of Horror Composers Collection". Since Youtube is being a bitch and not only prevents me from posting actual links, but also the fucking NAMES of the websites, go to the BAY of the PIRATEs, check "Ljud" and search for: Masters of horror composers collection You'll find almonst 3 gigs of Morricone, Giombini, Carpenter, Goblin, Frizzi, Simonetti, and a few others. Some of it "mainstream", most not.
  • LOVE this soundtrack!

  • Probably my second favourite Argento theme. Right after "Profondo Rosso"

  • Argento and prog, two of my favorite things! I really love the piano piece that opens the film, when Irene Miracle is going through the book.

  • lol, 5/5

  • I've got 3 questions, and really hope somebody can give me the answer, please!!:

1.-What is the real name of the theme?

2.-What language is the theme sung in,Latin,or Italian?

3.-Where could I get the lyrics of this theme?

    Keith Emerson's music is EXCELLENT!!

It makes me remember a little bit of QUEEN's ''Bohemian Rhapsody'',don't you think so?

    Thank you very much!!

    Greetings from Monterrey,MEXICO!!

  • 1- "Mater Tenebrarum"

    2- Latin

    3- Not really sure...

    But its a start.

  • Thanks a lot,radioblueheart!!

Thanks a lot for your info!!

Do you know if I can get the O.S.T. for this film, and if so,what is the title of it?

    Thanks again in advance!!

    Greetings from Monterrey,MEXICO!!

  • I actually have a copy. It was released through Cinevox records. The title is simply called "Inferno, the complete original motion picture soundtrack recording."

If you want, I can attach it to an email and send it to you.

  • Latin text(original):Mater Suspiriorum,Lacrimarum,Tenebrarum.Domine,domine,dominarum.(.....................)

    Ignis vestri imagine inferorum recipiunt.

English(fast translation):Oh,mothers of the sighs,of the tears and of the darknesses.Oh,Lord of the Lords.

The hells receivent the fire of your imagine.

  • Hi,arpionatore!!

I have downloaded the O.S.T.from this film (INFERNO),already.

Do you have the full lyrics of ''Mater Tenebrarum''?

You know?,I tried to download the lyrics from the web,but couldn't do it.

    Could you post it,please?

    Thanks a lot!!

    Greetings from MEXICO!!

  • I wrote the lyrics some post under this, months ago.And there is still the text.

    What's the O.S.T.sorry?

    Hugs from Italy.

  • Yeah,I barely saw you post some, but,is that the full lyrics?

    O.S.T means Original Sound Track.

    Thanks a lot!!

    Greetings again from MEXICO.

  • Is not the full lyrics cause ,sorry,i understand not all words of the song, that's in latin speech(old Rome's speech) but if i will can understand all words, in future, surely i will communicate it to you!

Welcome, and big big hugs from Italy!

  • Oh,I understand,arpionatore,sorry so much!!

    Don't you get worried.

Thanks a lot again, and will be expecting for any answer from you.

    Take care,and big,big hugs from Mexico,too!!

  • Excellent film!! I had the opportunity to see this film in 1981.

What a shame I haven't got it in dvd.

I also had it in VHS many years ago.

I really love the theme.Great Italian horror!!

  • Is this movie any good?

  • Yes i would recommend it very muchh so =]

You can buy it cheap of amazon

    Worth every penny
