Burial OVA's the best character design.

Yep, this serie is very very sad, one of the saddest story I ever watched, but is very beautiful!

love the song.i wish that they can do all saiyuki anime series good as the saiyuki burial and gaiden ovas .they should do over the saiyuki season 3 because it is all fillers except for few episodes...

I totally agree! The anime series are very awfuls except the Burial OVA that are the best as about the animation as about the manga's plot accuracy. ç_ç

omg...i think i will need lots of tissues for this OVA. i've already cried reading the manga...

so far i like the animation art here :) close to manga style. it's just they make Nataku blond O.o

Nataku is blond because sensei Minekura as portrayed him with blond or silver hair on her pictures.

@Deilantha i've just finished watching OVA 1 and 2...omg...i can't even sleep now thinking of Kenren. i know it gona happen, but the OVA exceeded my expectation. the animation studio done a great job. and kudos to the seiyuus for making the characters more alive. omg...now how im gona handle myself with Tenpou and Konzen?

regarding Nataku's hair yeah i know GS is a mistake. i've seen his silver hair, but not blond. thanks for the info :)

Yeah, in Saiyuki Gaiden (manga) Nataku's hair is blond. The brown hair we saw in Gensoumaden is a choice of the anime's designers. Minekura sensei has always draw Nataku with pale hair (sometime silver and sometime blond).

Blond in the manga? I don't remember his hair being blond. There were a few pages in colour and it showed that it was silver and although in the Gensoumaden series it was black/blue, I didn't really mind.

Yes, in the Gaiden his air is blond. On the Gaiden's vol.2's cover you can see that Nataku hair is blond.

I just thought of something..You know that bird that Goku played with when he was imprisoned?(later on in series XD)Well,it died,and,did the gods purposley KILL taht bird since Goku wasn't finished his snetence yet?! :O
