I'm very interested in this film and though I've watched the trailer multiple times, I still can't conjure up what this movie is about; can someone explain? =/
I GOTTA see this movie. Nolan is turning into one of the most creative directors of this decade, imho. I love his films since Dark City. Inception actually reminds me of DC a lot, I have to say.
Unlike certain popular, overrated directors out ther *coughcameroncough*, Nolan seems determined to tell his own stories, not his version of someone else's.
@NeroBlack2200 Eh? I just saw Avatar and the storyline didn't seem extremely cliche to me. Sure, the focus went more toward CGI and special effects, but I didn't find the story lacking.
- GREAT to see Christopher Nolan always making movies on completely different direction, which definitely brings new surprises and flash experience to me.
- Great actors bring into the movies. Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Leonardo DeCaprio, Ken Watanabe, Marion Cotillard, etc...can't wait to see how Christopher shapes them up!!
- love to see Hans Zimmer doing the movie music again, best movie music composer EVER!!
Just little concern, how come Leonardo opening speech sounds so motionless?
The end where Ellen Page says, "Wake me up. Wake me up" always gives me the chills. At least I think it's her. Anywho, I am so excited for this movie!!! Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Leonardo DeCaprio...amazing!
I take it you're not an Ellen Page fan. I think she's alright. I've seen Hard Candy, and I want to see Whip It. Juno on the other hand, I have no interest in seeing, though.
Agreed. Ellen Page is a shit stain on such fine casting. Some people say she's hot, some people say she doesn't have a massive donger in her trousers, but all I can say to those people is... THAT'S NOT MY DIAGNOSIS!!
No need for the sarcasm, bro. I meant to say that I want him to EXPAND on the themes in Memento and this seems like a good vehicle for that. Nothing wrong with expanding on themes already explored. All auteurs do it and are noted for it.
Like the theme of memory and how what we might perceive might not necessarily be true. Self deception, the idea of taking what might be a handicap and turning it to one's advantage, etc.
I WANT THIS TRAILER SCORE ON MY IPOD NOW!!!

Avatar looks pretty unique, I'd say. Not to mention Terminator.
All the same, this movie looks fantastic. I hope it's as good as the trailer suggests.

@LOVEluv1 Looks, yes. On paper, however, it's a different story.

Yeah....you want an artist to explore something he has already explored.
You obviously get it...in fact you might be a super genius.
