  • She doesn't seem cold to me, she just expects people to be accountable for their own choices. Ironically, this is a very conservative attitude.

  • In Japan, they make more porn than the USA. And the large numbers of people who are exposed to porn have never comitted any sex crimes. Sex crimes in Japan are so low that it is almost non-existent.

  • At 5:25 For everyone misguided, this is what we call COMMON SENSE

  • YOu can lie to yourself that pornography is the reason that rapists and sex offenders do what they do. Do you think that pornography caused the sexual abuse scandal in the Catholic Church? That was about the celibacy of priests. And what about the harm that the Church has done to the community by perverting human sexuality with the unnatural act of celibacy? Did the celibacy of the priests lead to child abuse? Yes.

  • Whether or not you agree with Ron Jeremy, he needs to learn how to respect others.

  • i've watch porn, i still watch porn, but my feet are on the ground, porn is nothing more and nothing less, than legal prostitution on tape, and since i ain't no angel, porn and drugs go hand in hand, and they don't get paid much, so there's a difference between a million dollar hollywood star and a porn star, so some porn stars have no choice but to falsify their results, i can't believe Ron Jeremy is such a hipocrite, it's easy money, but the consequences can be terminal and destroying

  • 3:05 "You're going to wanna take this stuff offline, a lot of times it's gonna get you to do things you never thought you would do"

That's not true, in fact, rape statistics are much higher in places where pornography is not permitted. If God did not want us to get off, he would not have given our bodies the desire to do so, and if he does so anyway, that's hypocritical and it's his fault for giving us a bodily desire, which literally causes physical pain if it's not acted upon.

  • Also I'm not really sure how people can't even admit that it *might* be a cause of other issues. I mean, every time you turn on the tv another child has been raped and murdered - and those are just the ones making the national news. To me it is obvious there is something causing this - some kind of epidemic. You don't have to be a religious person to see that.

  • Statistics don't matter. It doesn't matter what Ron says. Anyone watching this who as struggled with porn, knows the truth. I'm not saying that it leads every single person to do things they "never thought they would do", but it definitely is not a good path. I have watched families be destroyed because of it. And just because you are "honestly" watching it with your significant other, doesn't mean it won't escalate.

  • @Moiraine777 "Statistics don't matter" Neither does gravity.

  • 2:45 Jesus boy loses his mind then the entire debate.

  • @professorfunk...tho that may be so, religion is not the point here. religion means nothing anyway. Jesus Christ, the son of God, did not come to teach religion. he teaches THE WAY OF LIFE, to live our lives the way he tells us(which is the way he lived his own), which is good and righteous. religion has nothing to do with this, in fact its irrelevant.

  • Both Ron and Moneke are very prideful, I feel for them and have compassion for their souls, The looks they gave when asks how they felt about what they've achieved were like a blank stare. as @tcrieweler said, they're lying to them selves. Anyone can make their mouths say anything. The pride of life will destroy you in any case. And so will the love of money. This is a fallen world we live in, and I pray God saves as many as he can before Jesus reteurns, even porn stars. Thank God 4 Craig..

  • I would like to point out that both people arguing against porn are religious

  • the guy @ 7:53 reminds me of the guy from big bang theory

  • I hope this porn industry gets ban, so sick of this shit.

  • @mabeg111 Its just like guns, alcohol and cigarettes. If it were ban then people would still do it underground. That would sure make it harmful.I was hoping if they did anything it would be to raise the legal age from 18 to 21before you could be in a movie or photographed. That would at least give someone that just turned 18 a fighting chance. They might be a little older and wiser.

  • @DelinquentBilly Are you telling the truth? I did the same thing and it told me: "your answers have not met a score based on six criteria that indicate sex addiction is present."

So I wonder whether they have changed something with the test in two weeks or whether you are trying to discredit this guy.

  • @Atze1985 I was just joking when I left that comment. I deleted it, it wasn't funny. I'm not trying to discredit the guy at all, he seems sincere and honest with what he's doing. Even though I am far from anti porn, I respect that he actually seems to be trying to help people.

  • Ron and the girl are lying to themselves. The thing that sticks out the most about her to me is that she is so cold. She has no sympathy toward other girls that have been hurt by porn. I think its just the result of having to harden yourself to be in an industry like porn. You have to tune your feelings out and she has. I think she is fooling herself, no one could be proud of using your body to make money, is she not able to offer anything else to the world?

  • @tcrjeweler1 Actually she seems like someone who is an adult and understands everyone is responsible for their own decisions.

As to your other point, very few people actually "offer" something to the world. Bach, Hooke, Galileo, Jobs these people offered something to the world, what did little Suzy home maker ever offer the world. This girl actually offered entertainment to millions of people around the world so she did actually offer something.

  • @tcrjeweler1 Using your body to make money? what do you mean, like getting a job? because everyone needs a job to survive, unless you're born rich. I agree porn isn't for the weak, so is serving in the Navy Seals. I think religion and porn are detrimental to society and human life, but hey, it's freedom of choice.

  • @tcrjeweler1 That is an extremely closed minded way of thinking. Maybe Ron and the girl are just naturally apathetic towards the whole situation. Not everybody is an emotionally frail little flower just because someone is. And they don't do it to "offer something to the world", they do it to make money. Doing something does not come with the implication that you think it will help humanity as a whole, nor does everything someone does need to help humanity as a whole necessarily.

  • @tcrjeweler1

    Your correct it's emotional disconnection.

  • It would be interesting to find out how many couples who upload porn themselves actually are together now or have other problems in the relationship. Plus there are hundreds of thousands of amature sites that look like they are, but really the women and men are actors, but people follow the crowd and if they feel the Jones are doing it.. then it must be ok.

  • haha 3:33 to 3:53 completely obliterated.

  • around 3:25, he COULD have talked about how the media and its fantasies DO impact people's perceptions, and as of late, it is rather negative, although potentialloy capable of being positive. porn is part of the negative.

  • Ron Jeremy is not good at debating. I agree with his side, but awful debater. Monique is concise and clear.

  • 'there is a lady in the back waering a quite stunning hat'

  • Christian win!

  • WHAT! You can watch videos of people having sex!

  • being against porn is like being against farts, NO chance to stop it

  • Who is the women with the hat?

  • Debating about pornography is starting to seem pointless.

  • @RevengeOfMoctezuma I agree. It's almost ridiculous. Debating whether porn is healthy or bad is what's really dangerous. I'm starting to hear voices.

  • Ron has a good point- none of Craig's statistics are....true

  • Ron has a good point- none of Craig's statistics are....true...

  • The social stigma, the psychological trauma, shame and guilt are caused by a judgmental Christian culture created by these evangelicals Christians.

  • I'm going to go Christian on you guys, but the problem with porn is that you are giving yourself to lust, being controlled by a wicked emotion. It destroys your soul and you destroy others and spread wickedness. And theres freedom in Christ. Thats why these Christians in the debate have peace and the porn stars don't. Just notice it with your own eyes.

  • @fiercey You're a deluded fool in multiple ways. One of which is that "we" are "controlled". "wicked emotion" --lol. Thank-you. You've done a nice job of demonstrating the twisted and extremely negative view that conservative Christians have of sex.

  • "When you watch this stuff, you're gonna want to go do it..." This man doesn't understand people.

  • No one mentions that sometimes women drive men towards porn. If you are inexperienced with women and are attracted to someone you meet, there is a good chance you will never be given the time of day for no reason whatsoever. The fact is women are attracted to highly aggressive, highly sexual men. There have been countless times when I have had deep respect for a woman, was into her, wanted to learn about her, etc and she couldn't care less. So now I don't. Fuck it, I don't make the rules.

  • oh great pulling out more numbers and findings... does anyone else notice how ron only pulls out numbers and craig and don tell stories of real people who have real life expierences?

  • @stellarshine80 Oh no stop with the verifiable data!!! lets hear a story.

  • There was a rapist/murderer that admitted porn was the thing that started his path down destruction.

  • @kdubwilli Didn't some guy kill John Lennon because of Catcher in the Rye? I guess we should get rid of that too.

  • @kdubwilli Yeah Im sure he never experienced any trauma in childhood.

Also if you freaken guys dont post my comments your only presenting one side of the issue. What are you afraid of. Christians are the most fearful people I know. Heb 11:6

  • @kdubwilli the utilitarian arguement aside; logically, and emperically, there is plenty of evidence that pronography decreases sex crime rates, because it relieves the cumulative and inevitable chemical/hormonal tention that males experience almost always. Very sick people however can be triggered by almost anything.

  • @dalolman I would be interested in seeing some of those statistics. I personally know married men with children who have told me they were never abused as a child, and it was porn that ruined their marriage. It got to the point where they needed something that involved a higher risk, so these people then solicit themselves online to meet with strangers to have sex.

  • @kdubwilli I like how you said who it was and how his confession is the truth and he couldn't possibly be shifting the blame to something else so he doesn't feel responsible.

  • @kdubwilli Hugh, you know there was a lady who killed her children because god told her to do it.

  • @kdubwilli Ted Bundy? He was a sociopath.

  • @kdubwilli There was a 200 year war that admitted religion being the cause of the millions of lives lost, and still lives today are being taken away to the cause.

  • @kdubwilli I know Ted Bundy stated that.

  • i noticed Ron put the answer to questions off

  • ANSWER THE QUESTION, RON!! geez.....

  • bullcrap fuck religion

  • well porn is always going to be legal ( like it or not) its a matter of putting higher health standards and laws , like drug testing ,health testing , work load limits ect more specific movie ratings.

  • @fotie25 From a debate perspective the Preacher/xxx church side are more organized and structured and thus stronger than Ron and Monique's

Also from a medical perspective (Chinese medicine) excessive ejaculation in males is bad for kidneys health and physical stamina n endurance and porn doesn't help with that... Those who study martial arts, train weights or boxing experience this directly .

  • ron has a masters degree!!!

  • @youtubalisation FUCK YEAH LOL

  • that fat guy ron is so dumb!! its crazy!

  • ehhh porn kinda poisoned my mind not gonna lie, but i don't really wana stop yet heh

  • The girl with the "amazing hat" asked a valid question and after thinking for a moment, I came to this conclusion. With most "fantasy" that I've observed through movies or books, it usually has a good moral point the creators try to get across (with the exception of some of course). This doesn't normally make us feel bad about reality but rather pushes us to live better. Porn doesn't do that, it makes many healthy, normal relationships insecure by showing people that do it better than them.

  • what are they waiting for to discuss the stds inside the porn business

  • It is fantasy. It did get me to do things that I would have never thought of doing. And guess what, my wife loves it. Porn made me a wonderful lover. I know this, my wife knows this, our neighbors know this.

  • @BlackElement1980 You spanked your neigbour too :P

  • Who is she???

  • I'm not religious but I think the religious guys on the panel were pretty reasonable and - refreshingly - not spending their whole time bible-thumping

  • @forestskog bible-thumping??? you realize their points are supported by scripture. They just broke truth down from the bible and people are indirectly agreeing with God. So what constitutes as bible thumping? Literally thumping the bible or just using scripture?

  • @Jakyle1 Well for me, the ultimate example of "bible-thumping" is using quotes from the Bible to prove that the bible is true. Note that I PRAISED the christians here for erring more on the side of arguing that certain Bible scriptures are wise and thereby LOGICALLY true.

  • @forestskog that's all well...however most people already agree with "certain Bible scriptures" and believe they are "wise and thereby LOGICALLY true." But they instantly assume quoting scripture is dumb if it doesn't make logical sense. Problem my logic is screwed up, and if I believe scripture is where I get wisdom...I'll always be a "bible thumper." I hate the term...but for some one who trusts in scripture...there's no way around it.

  • Anyone here that's bashing Ron Jeremy actually come here with an open mind? Or did you watch this ready to agree with the pastors, no matter what? That's what I thought.

By the way, why did Craig refuse to answer the question about hollywood? He says porn is a lie that causes disappointment with real life - does he believe the same about Hollywood? Literature?

The entire crowd cheered when this question was answered, and Craig didn't even bother to answer it he went on some crazy tangent.

  • who was that lady in the fur hat

  • Who is the one with the fur hat?

  • @CocotonaVideos yeah I noticed he called her Susan...but that's all I got.

  • fuck ron jeremy hes such a douche bag

  • that blonde is so into porn

  • i thought yale students where smart, whr th fuck do they find th time to talk bwt porn?

  • like any drug addicition lets find a postive influence in our lives to challenge what we hold most dear in lives....to ultimently get out

  • mythology....lmao wata dumbassbizzich...titles have nothing to do with anything...i thought of being a pornstart btw im under 18 but chek it out ive been stuyding my shet and well porn is the same shet as life...do it right blah blah blah i hate all you humans u guys are idiots and no im not a know-it-all because i know i dont know everything but damb why the hell is it so hard to live for all of you....friggin idiots...btw live free live strong and above all live alive...

  • @bmc510 LOL shut up, and grow up.

I'm not supporting this idiot Craig. I'm just saying you sound like a 'tard.

  • sexy!, howeva youtube's defo not great for videos of hot girls, go have a look at rudey Tube . awesome short videos

  • This is basically a veiled fundie attack on porn, it has nothing to do with the psychological damage it can supposedly cause but rather that "it's against the bible". Not to mention that their arguments hold no water, I've seen and watched porn since I was around 11 years old and now I'm older I can completely distinguish between fantasy and real life, people are a lot more complicated than these bible bashers seem to allow for in their tiny intellectual universe.

  • maybe perhap the guilt people who work in porn is maybe the result of religion. if you tell ppl your going to hell if they dont accept your religion that can also have an effect on personal choices such as porn such as the thought "your going to hell if you do porn"

  • The anti-porn guys are unintelligent TOOLS!

  • This wasn't a really compelling debate on either side.

  • @rainbowspite222 yea it would have been better if ron didn't get so flustered, his info was actually back up by statistics so he shouldn't have needed to use such emotion

  • Not to mention that the christians were basically arguing that people aren't capable of distinguishing between the fantasy of porn and the reality of sex in a relationship, but then there's a difference even in a relationship between "fucking" and "making love"... The woman in the audience had a good point.

  • @ninjatoothpaste careful with the word "christian." You say "christian" when what you are reffering to are evanglical pentacostals, which no matter how loud they scream, they are fortunately still the minority of christians. I'm Christian ELCA Lutheran to be exact) and porn is fine by me (legal porn that is)

  • @jros83 ???...what is a ELCA Lutheran? You basically just said, " I'm a Christian (little Christ or Christ follower) that thinks pornography is ok." There are 32 verses in the Bible that contain the word "pornea" in the original Greek...non of them support it.

  • @Jakyle1 i dont take the bible literally, number 1, number two an ELCA Lutheran is a Lutheran of the Evangelical Lutheran Churches of America, in other words, the Lutherans in America who are not Missouri Synod. Noww get off my ass you fundy.

  • hey ron, ur a dork! TED BUNDY!

  • martin bashir is kind of annoying during this debate. he's trying to focus the debate, but incorrectly restricting the speakers on both sides from making full, good points

  • ron jeremy rocks

  • @getsomeboy321 ron jeremy is a freak who uses women to get rich at their own expense!!

  • you would say that because your parents raised you to be a christian and porn is evil to you so you think that ron makes an honest living

  • Who's the woman with the furry hat? The pastor was talking about her show so I'm kinda curios.

  • one else notice that ron never ever ever ever..... answers the question asked? he just dances around the issue to avoid the truth

  • @SteveSteves11 ya he should go into politics

  • YESS!!!! THANK YOU!!! I was gonna say it myself!

  • @SteveSteves11 what answer are you talking about did you watch the debate you dumbass

  • @SteveSteves11

Examples? He's answering the questions, maybe just not giving the answers some people would like. The last question he's asked in this video, for example. He answers the question by saying that love and sex, work and play, can be separated. Basically he's making the point that the point raised in the question is a non-issue, but for some reason people can't connect this perfectly valid answer to the question posed without the aid of a diagram or having it spelled out for them...

  • @nugget147 You must've missed all the times the moderator asks Ron to answer the question. You must've also missed Ron's indignation, flippancy, nervousness, impudence and arrogance. Perhaps you are the one that requires a diagrammatical depiction. D-i-s-c-e-r-n.

  • @muzzster1970

Again, the moderator asking Ron to answer the question doesn't mean he hasn't already done so. I gave an example of this already. I don't see how indignation, flippancy or arrogance are even relevant. There are times when flippancy and indignation are entirely appropriate responses. Any perceived arrogance is irrelevant to the validity of his argument. You seem to favor style over substance. If you want to give Ron some pointers on debating, fine. I only care who is correct.

  • @nugget147 You argue like a liberal, ie, eyes wide shut. My dear man, you couldn't buy a clue.

  • @muzzster1970

I had to laugh at this comment. Thanks for the chuckle!

  • @SteveSteves11 Yeah, sure. Did YOU see he's the only one with ACTUAL PROOF to back up what he's saying?

  • @SteveSteves11 welcome to being jewish

  • I think simply because Porn is still considered fetish or taboo to some, is why it is still singled out. Food is nourishing, but people have eating problems. Alcohol has been consumed since the earliest days, some have problems with it, others done. Automobiles, while innovative and now considered a necessity, can be fatal in a crash. In this same way, Porn should be judged. Some will have addictions and issues, others will not. We should instead inspect our virtues...

  • Porn can be sexy, for sure. But, the issue is that the industry has changed so much, and not for the better. There's 100,000 times more of it, 10 times as hardcore (lots of nasty nasty stuff), and as easy to see as opening your fridge, than 15 years ago. The stuff that is really prevalent on the web is not 'erotica', it's shocking, and obviously there's a huge market for it. Consuming may not inevitably lead to becoming a criminal, but what's good about piles of video that depicts degradation?

  • Some people derive pleasure from degradation. Sado for example. Some people like to be dominated, some people have very strange fetishes. I do not agree with many of the perverse things people do with one another, but does that mean they shouldn't have the choice? I agree though, Hardcore is a bit too prevalent on the internet for children to have access to, which is why more parental guidance is needed in a forum where all sorts of information (true and false) is available for consumption.

  • wow, next time try being more of a close minded prick.

  • How is it being close minded? God says that pornography is wrong. Why would I consider it to be a good thing when He clearly doesn't want us to participate in it or watch it?

  • Their purpose is not to promote God. If they do so, they'll lose much of their audience. Their main purpose is to help those with porn addictions, and talking about God won't resonate with them -- maybe that will come later. Christian or not, everybody battling an addiction should be able to get help.

  • I agree. However, the people that were debating against porn were Christians. And I would think that saying that it is against God's will would actually help people to understand why it is wrong. Because if there is no God then everything that the people who are debating for porn say is true. The only way to understand why porn is bad is to understand that God says so. Without a moral law giver then there is no true right and wrong and then nothing is wrong with porn.

  • What it comes down to is that a lot of Christians condemn enjoying Porn as a sin or a vice, but there are many other sins that ALL people commit daily, such that it would be hypocritical to stone people for one glaring vice, but have a double standard when it comes to ones own sin. All sins are equal in the eyes of God. Jesus' true message was that we need to forgive each other for our sins, to not judge each other for we are ALL sinners and to love one another no matter how sinful we may be.

  • Here is a thought. Do you think someone like Hitler would burn in hell after the atrocities he had committed or do you honestly believe that after his death, standing before God, if he truly repented, that he would be taken under God's divine providence and authority, forgiven for his sin as God forgives all the faithful? If you are truly Christian, there should be no double standards, no one is exempt from God's mercy.

  • "Your sources are older than me," "its true" bahaha

  • Interesting to note how much the end of this video seems to relate to Homer's The Odyssey.

  • I guess basically is your choice if U r addicted to porn a not just like drugs? For me I think watching porn might be ok but If addicted to it is horrible. Knowing that porn doesn't do good to you just stop watching porn. And I hate porn for myself but I don't hate people who watch porn.

  • Very freaking HOT, I've already seen her on amateursex (dot) tk .

she has some really great videos.

  • There is more rapes and such everyday...almost every women have had an experience with rape or molestation. People see it and want to do it...

  • cool video not as cool as mine though take a look in my profile hehehe

  • Yale students are really dumb.

  • thank you,oh how lonely did i think i was on this one:)))))))))))

i believe it's a general issue, though, not only the students are but also the teachers, and so on.

    huge disappointment

  • @RobGoth100 If your dad went to Yale, you get in. It's an Ivy, but don't get fooled. There are no true requirements (either GPA, SAT/ACT, Class rank, etc...) other than Legacy (a parent going there), so lots of idiots get in.

  • @YTConsulting Of course many idiots went to Yale. They couldn't get into Harvard. Go Crimson!

  • @RobGoth100 your a dumbass

  • @RobGoth100 THATS TRUTH HAHAHAHHAAHAHA

  • like video game and movies, if you go do things that happen to be in those 3 things, it's because there's something wrong with YOU not the 3 things. If you can't handle it, that's your fault and not the 3 industries and maybe you should look at how your family and friends have influence how you view the world and start thinking for yourself.

  • no one knows how to answer questions

  • Why is Ron avoiding the questions?

  • because hes points arent vaild, also he is a horrid public speaker

  • I think that at the end of the day everyone is going to have a choice and realistically i feel that if you don't want this in your family there are ways to keep it out. I think that for myself a porn free world would be more fulfilling but I can only speak for myself. I noticed thow that when I watch less porn my overall relationships with people seem more wholesome and real. But if god didn't want people to have a choice then they wouldn't. I say let the people who want to watch it have it.

  • AND there it is. The church is basically saying they want to control you. They want to make the behaviors they religiously believe are bad illegal.

If porn is made illegal, then you can't post pictures of yourself naked, even if there's no money involved. This is an interesting question. How far do they want to force other people to adhere to their religion? Are they going to make church attendance mandatory? No business can be done on Sunday? No one can smoke pot? Have a beer?

  • this guy says over and over again he doesn't want to take away your right to watch porn. Geeze ... paranoid.

  • Then what does he want?

  • He wants your business.

  • Also saying that someone who watches porn will molest children makes no sense. A lot of these women go to ridiculous lengths to augment natural features. You're saying after months or years of watching women with 36DD's; suddenly you're going to want prepubescent children? A lot of people who watch porn and are arrested are arrested for solicitation.

  • The pro porn side could answer a bit better as should the anti porn side. The pastor and his buddy loves to say if you watch it youll rape kids, never be satisfied, have no wife. Complete bullshit I dont see how people agree with what he is saying but I see how people can be antiporn, quick suggestion DONT WATCH IT. Biblethumpers and Filmmehumpers going head to head is always lulzy.

  • I looked up this xxxchurch guy over the course of watching this debate. He has booths at porn conventions. Is he gonna sit there and seriously say he never lusted after all the beautiful women walking up and down the aisles of those conventions?

  • Also he wouldn't have a job if it wasn't for porn. He wants to talk shit but he sets up booths AT porn conventions. Fuck that little emo bitch.

  • I love how the two of them are arguing mad hard, and they are still friends.

  • 2:55-3:16 is interesting. Even if it was true that porn did compel people to commit crimes or deviant behaviors (which according to Jeremy, who actually cited studies rather than his personal experiences, does not), there's no indication those people would not have committed crimes or deviance anyways. In other words, for the pastor's point to be valid, he would have to prove that porn is AT LEAST a risk factor for deviance and crime, let alone a significant variable.

  • First, Son of Sam admitted his addiction to pornography was THE main reason for his killing females. Ron Jeremy is lying by saying that EVERY statistic says.... that is simply not true. There are studies that say that pornography is addictive and is progressive in nature.

  • Son of Sam was a fucking loony and used the porn defense as an excuse for his heinous crimes just like Ted Bundy did. It's not the porn industry's fault that these serial killers had no accountability for their actions. Also when you hear a dog's voice telling you to go and kill and you act on it what in the blue hell does that have to do with being addicted to porn?

  • Because a) it is in direct contradiction to Ron Jeremey's point and b) if it was only one person that ever used it as a defense it would be one ting, but it is used on a regular basis, not just for murder, but rape, molestation and other problems. It's not the beer industry's fault that people die in drunk driving wrecks or the smoking industry isn't to blame for lung cancer either. Every person that has an addiction is in essence responsible, but that doesn't make it blameless or right.

  • The tobacco industry's blatant advertising to children and adolescents is not blameless, but if a grown adult makes the choice to smoke knowing the consequences, then they are solely responsible for their actions. I used to smoke but I never blamed Marlboro for MY addiction. It was also up to me to quit the habit, not Marlboro, not anyone else.

  • I like how that advanced degree has made Ron Jeremy such a critical thinker. He never answers the questions posed to him

  • As is ron jeremy cares about the repercussions of porn, hes making billions from it. What a moron.

  • ron goes off topic sometimes. monique suck my cock

  • It's amazing that Ron believes that it is acceptable or even healthy to "seperate love from sex". This is not conducive to anything resembling monogamy. It DOES contribute to a propensity towards infidelity. It is also within the realm of duplicity of mind, which schizophrenics and sociopaths share as well.

  • The truth of the matter is, love and sex are two different entities, and one can be experienced and practiced without the other. Some people can handle having one night stands with no strings attached, with no shame and no regrets. I for one prefer love with sex, over loveless hedonistic sex, but it would be foolish to deny others what might be perfectly healthy for them.

  • Also, one must consider back when marriages where arranged and not based on love, yet there was sex for child rearing and pleasure since man was expected to please his wife.

  • Yes, but what does this have to do with the pornography industry? It's a complete non-sequiter.

  • if your speaking of my comment on arranged marriages, think of a marriage that has is devoid of love. Instead it is based purely on respect. The woman knows the man is a hard worker, he might not look the best, he might not be a charmer, but he is a good father, loyal and provides his family well. The woman is loyal, fills the role or mother and keeps things in order at home. The SEX in this relationship is purely for pleasure and child bearing, no love and was meant as an example of such.
