hey i have deleted the title update and the other update. it worked and and when i went to go kill people my xbox just froze? any suggestions on what to do?
@1stReconAirsoftSquad The only time I had problems with the game locking up the Xbox was when the glitch was still happening. Whenever I followed the steps in the vid I had zero problems.
Dont rent or borrow a game and install it its just a bug in the game. I make fun out of it by running around and scaring people or something u can still throw down ammo and kill in vehicles. dont make a big deal okay!!
Hey everyone I think I found the solution for xbox players. What u want to do is to get a clean disk (rent one or get it from a friend), place the dusk in and go install it to ur harddrive then u can play with ur own disk. I really hoped this helped guys srry to pc and ps3 players

OK! I'm glad I found this post. I have had NO guns, hands, grenades, sounds in jets, or helicopters for 3 weeks now. I contacted EA several times. Once they had me uninstall EVERYTHING which I did....didn't work! Now I'm stuck. They say their "fixing it" but doubt it since you all have the same problem. Any idea for an Xbox360(the newer 4GB one) on how to make this work the way it should?
@m3rsey Well considering you can't really install anything w/ 4GB hdd. I'd recommend buying the 250 or 320GB hdd. I play from the disc and not the hdd. Just uninstall the title update #1 and redownload it and see if that works. If it doesn't uninstall the 2GB mulitplayer update and reinstall it. If that doesn't work well... then I'm not terribly sure. If it gets to that point then you'll have to hope DICE/EA fixes it.

@rascalz819 only thing i could suggest is deleting the title update and reinstalling it if the PS3 has the same file structure layout like the 360 does. I have a PS3 but rarely play it. XD
For X360 owners with this issue, can someone specify what console model you have, what is the free space on your HDD, what content have you installed on your HDD and ideally, the order in which you did that (e.g. installed HD content after downloading the MP update)?
You don't have to remove the 2GB Update unless removing the TITLE update did not work for you. DICE suck butt when it comes to customer service and when I spoke to them they replied with "oh, it must be your xbox" ...clearly it must be my xbox causing the issue when hundreds more people have the same problem. DICE fail.
@caspa156 its not just customer service in general its customer service to the console players is all they been fixing glitches and update patches friquintly with the pc but they dont do jack shit for the console players which almost 3/4 the community cuz nobody can a afford a pc unless your rich what a bunch of dicks pc gamers not DICE!

@Goooner17 On 360 you have to Dashboard to get it to start "working right" again. I assume XMB if you're on PS3. All we can do is wait for a fix from DICE/EA. Don't believe one is coming anytime soon.

@Kilz4Modz As far as I've seen, it isn't a problem with the disc. I've read countless others have acquired a second disc via a friend or trade, etc to have the same results. So it's something DICE/EA botched. This problem was evident in the BETA they put out shortly before the game dropped. No discs there. Problem not fixed for retail. womp womp womp

@Catsandoggs That doesn't work. That was the first thing I did. Even removed the entire game install from HDD and played directly from disc. All you can do is wait for a fix directly from DICE/EA. Sucks to be us.
WTF this is happening to me too. i cant see any load outs and then the game lets me run around with NO GUN and i get killed then it freezes. Is there ever going to be a fix for this?!

Ok - I've got the answer for most of you dealing with this. I had the same thing happen to me, I couldn't play for three days, could spawn, but had no weapons, and it often froze when starting a match (or never stopped loading after a match).
Basically, your MP disc is scratched. If you move your Xbox, even a little, while its on, it'll make a perfectly circular scratch on the disc. On the plus side, if you take it back to Gamestop within 30 days of purchase, they'll let you exchange it.
@Ardivian I also have it installed on my hdd so i dont think its a disc problem, i also tried a file rebuild which some people suggested but no luck :( but at least dice have aknowledged theres a problem since customer services just gave me the old " have you tried restarting your console " run-around as if im mentally handicapped, so hopefully dice can come up with a real solution.
same problem here on ps3 version , im not on battlelog so thats not the issue. I had 2 good days of play without to much trouble, but i has gotten increasingly worse since the first time it happened. It's gotten to the point were it happens every time i respawn from death and at times as soon as i enter a game. Once it happens theres no going back you either have to quit game from the ps menu if it doesn't crash on the loading screen, or do a hard reset!

@BobbyRae1000 I just had it happen when trying to pick up a 'Spawn Beacon' a few minutes ago. Went from carrying SVD to trying to pick it up to move it, to having nothing in my hands...
i got the same issue on my ps3. singleplayer sometimes works well, but when it has to load another level it doesnt freez but it will never stop loading? i was so excited about this game but it bothers me that i cant enjoy it properly. someone who has a sulution, i would be very thankfull.
@iamZwolle I installed both discs to the HDD. I had zero problems during single player on Hard difficulty much less any other difficulty doing achievement clean up in campaign. Multiplayer on the other hand. One big headache.
i played it 3 times, annd NO WEAPONS GLITCH every damn time i wanna play the game. Worst of all it freezes the system when you Quit the disc. WTF. I'm pissed and hope Modern Warfare will be 100x better than this. At least a lot more fun.

It is the scratch on the CD. It comes up sometimes even if you dont nudge your console.

i got the same issue on my ps3. singleplayer sometimes works well, but when it has to load another level it doesnt freez but it will never stop loading? i was so excited about this game but it bothers me that i cant enjoy it properly. someone who has a sulution, i would be very thankfull.

@iamZwolle I installed both discs to the HDD. I had zero problems during single player on Hard difficulty much less any other difficulty doing achievement clean up in campaign. Multiplayer on the other hand. One big headache.

i played it 3 times, annd NO WEAPONS GLITCH every damn time i wanna play the game. Worst of all it freezes the system when you Quit the disc. WTF. I'm pissed and hope Modern Warfare will be 100x better than this. At least a lot more fun.

@ihopCuatroUno I only have it happen when I spawn. I'd probably loose my mind if that happened when I picked up a weapon. lol
