@PatriciaCookFind1 You might just be the most ingenious little prick I have ever seen on the youtubes. As if it's not Bush's fault in the least or as if the president's parents residing in Kenya has anything to do with how he acts.
Well what I want them to know is just like, John Wayne was from Waterloo, Iowa. That's the kind of spirit that I have, too" -Rep. Michele Bachmann, getting her John Waynes mixed up during an interview after launching her presidential campaign in Waterloo, Iowa, where she grew up. The beloved movie star John Wayne was born in Winterset, Iowa, three hours away. The John Wayne that Waterloo was home to is John Wayne Gacy, a notorious serial killer. (June 2011)
"Carbon dioxide is portrayed as harmful. But there isn't even one study that can be produced that shows that carbon dioxide is a harmful gas." -Rep. Michelle Bachmann
Hypercapnia or hypercapnea , also known as hypercarbia, is a condition where there is too much carbon dioxide (CO2) in the blood.
Hypercapnia normally triggers a reflex which increases breathing and access to oxygen, such as arousal and turning the head during sleep. A failure of this reflex can be fatal.
I kind of want to vote Bachmann in, just to watch the country crumble so finally people have to get off their asses and actually elect a progressive who wants to help everyone.
So if she's obedient to her husband, wouldn't that mean he'd be making some (if not most) decisions if she were elected president? Here's to someone in the media asking her that question. I'm genuinely curious as to where the line is drawn in her eyes.
Bachmann is already feeding out of the corporate hand. Politicians never bite the hand that feeds. She is bought and paid for. I'm so relieved that this was a joke.
Very well said. It's a shame that you guys don't have the option to vote 'none of the above'. Actually, I'd like that ability too and I'm in Canada. Of course, the humour value of Bachmann being the president would be without compare...
i think i will vote for her so we can get on with the complete breakdown of reason and making sure atheists are declared terrorists when the theocracy takes over..
@concord327 and how are you going to label atheists terrorsts? by asking them? "hey are you an atheist, if so the united states government will label you a terrorist and then throw you in Guntamano" "ohh! why yes i am!" and what are you going to do to make everyone a christian, send everyone to church every week where atheists will just become more atheist?
both parties are a bunch of power hungery self serving wannabe autocrats.
who ever said this got it perfect: comparing republicans and democrats is like compairing coke and pepsi. This time, lets reach for the Uncola. Vote libertarian.
Wikipedia on US Czars: "The earliest known use of the term for a U.S. government official was in the administration of Franklin Roosevelt (1933–1945), during which eleven unique positions (or twelve if one were to count "Economic Czar" and "Economic Czar of World War II as separate) were so described. The term was revived, mostly by the press, to describe officials in the Nixon and Ford administrations and continues today."
@Felhaven So what ? After all the same education system teaches kids that Winston Churchill was the greatest Prime-Minister, Britain ever had. It doesn't matter that he gave up half of Europe to Stalin, just to please the moustache bastard !
@Felhaven I understood what you meant. My comment was related to the fact that education systems sometimes glorify the wrong people. FDR and Winston Churchill are a good example. What's next ? Stalin ?
yay for democracy, you guys get to choose which person who wont have any power to chance a sht, there are always people that are more powerful than the precident, you guys dont get a sht of what is rightfully yours..
America will be the end of humanity, you guys liturally steal water from developing countries because you dont have enough..
Young people are not going to vote for the half of the Republican party who digs into their ideologies instead of doing things for the good of the country. We need young people to vote next year! Stop these closed-minded, religious fools from giving tax breaks to the rich and making the gap between the poor and rich wider. They don't care if the debt ceiling isn't raised because they are ALREADY RICH so why do they care if it won't effect them?
@K1773N1988 Hell yeah....young people to vote Obama 2012!!! I am a psychic and I know the future. Obama will fix it all if we get another term...Trust God and Jesus. They hate the conservatives as much as we do!!
God loves Obama!! We will get our taxes on the rich, we will get out of debt, we have a dream, and only Obama can make it come true!! Liberals have a president that “they” can NOT assassinate like J.F.K. now. We shall overcome there slave driving Fascist Reich!
@PatriciaCookFind1 We are living in the Bush depression... Tax breaks for people who don't need it, pointless wars, severe cuts to education, zero attention paid to real problems like social security, medicare, and infrastructure for 8 crucial years. The economy has actually been improving since Obama took office, he's actually doing what he said he would, CC reform, Health Care reform, it's just too bad the repubs are so afraid of doing things differently they don't let us do what's right.
@AliburX it's not the rebulicans won't let the majority do what's right, it's that the republicans refuse to even join the debate. The number of filibusters was at a record high by the republicans. Obama wanted, and tried to enact change, and as a response the republicans threw a tantrum in the corner crying, "It's nor fair!"
@AliburX It's Regan's, Bush's, Clinton's and then Bush's fault. All of them contributed. In reality it's mostly Alan Greenspan's fault and he's was chairman of the fed for twenty-one years. From Regan to almost the end of George Dubya.
@AliburX Are you delusional? He spent like 4 trillion dollars in his first 2 years of office. I didn't like bush at all, not one bit, but he spent around 1 trillion dollars in a period of 8 years. Do you like, not watch the news? Why can't you be unbiased and just look at the facts? Some people are just too close minded to realize that republican and democrat is just a word, so stop blaming everything on one side. Take your biased bs somewhere else.
@NickmickRs Causes of debt increase: Revenue declines due to the recession, separate from the Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003: 28% Defense spending increases: 15% Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003: 13% Increases in net interest: 11% Other non-defense spending: 10% Other tax cuts: 8% Obama Stimulus: 6% Medicare Part D: 2% Other reasons: 7%[65]
Sure looks like it was the recession, wars, and Bush tax cuts that are creating the biggest portion of the prob. Hardly OB
@AliburX Where did you get this information from? Link me please. Regardless of who spent more money than the other (which I'm positive Obama has), it's both of their faults. They're both puppets to the same regime of people that got Kennedy killed. I think it's time that you look at things unbiased, because fact is at the moment, Obama isn't doing a good job. He won't get re-elected because he's failed to prove to most people that he can take charge of the country. Sorry I had to tell you.
@NickmickRs en(dot)wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/United_States_public_debt - You'll find those numbers from the Pew Center, released April 2011. The New York Times is also quoted as giving Recessions or the business cycle (37%); Policies enacted by President Bush (33%); Policies enacted by President Bush and supported or extended by President Obama (20%); and New policies from President Obama (10%).
I also disagree with the kooky conspiracy theories. Repubs are the problem, not Obama
@AliburX You can keep thinking that one side of all of this is responsible and the other one is in the clear, but it's not. Bush increased the debt from 5 trillion to 10 trillion in 8 years, and Obama increased it from 10 trillion to 14 trillion in just two. Both sides are at fault on this. Open your mind for once and consider "kooky" conspiracy theories, if you actually do research about some of them you'll find it disturbing of what the truth is.
@AliburX If you want to play that game then, fine. I said in my previous comment that both sides are at fault. And the data you gave me was correct, so I admit I was wrong in some areas. All I'm saying is that open up and stop being one sided to everything, that gets no one anywhere. Thanks.
@NickmickRs Fair enough. I do agree with that sentiment to be sure. I'm not a democrat or a republican, I am, and always have been independent and I have voted for candidates from every side of the isle. I actually watch them debate on the floor of congress. Although I honestly do believe, after watching the debates between congress people myself, that republicans are creating a bigger problem.
@AtheisMisReality Keep in mind, we don't all think like that, and those of us who are here fighting the ignorance and stupidity are trying very hard to make things better. You are correct, the religious beliefs seem to be at the core of 1. Rejecting education in general. 2. Holding onto incorrect beliefs even after they have been proven false. 3. Flocking together like mindless idiots to promote/deny causes without actually understanding them... I don't like it any more than you do my friend.
Respond to this video... are you disappointed that he is so moderate? as long as stubborn dimwitted asshole republicans are in washington there will never be the change this country needs
@judoyodan All that proves is that it doesn't matter who becomes president. Our so called democracy is an illusion, put in place to make us feel like we have some control. The government does not run this country, the corporations do. It's terrifying that the richest minority would knowingly sacrifice the future of mankind just to make a buck. They are nothing but murderers thieves and genocidal maniacs. These people care more about money than their own children's future well being.
@judoyodan Obama's really just working too hard to compromise with the republican agenda in an attempt to overcome our paralyzed bi-partisan divide. It's difficult when you represent the party of diversity. Democrats are less likely to vote as a unit, republicans always vote as a unit because they encourage the sheep behavior. Just look at any voting stats in congress... Repubs always vote exactly the same, there are always some dems who have independent views because they actually try.
Hey Dusty! Wasn't it a Republican Prez who first had a drug czar and a bunch of other czars. And they blame Dems but didn't Bush senior take over a country from clinton that had a zero deficit. And there bitching at Obama but he was left a deficit of over 2 trillion dollars but it's all his fault. What's with these assholes.
What's even sadder is that regardless of how stupid and inexperienced she is , she actually has more experience than Obama. And he is the president. This country is already fucked up . Another lunatic wont change much.
Women fought to be strong, independent and equal to men, and now Bechmann is telling them be submissive to their husbands. No woman should vote for that.

Bachmann, you smart.

So if she's obedient to her husband, wouldn't that mean he'd be making some (if not most) decisions if she were elected president? Here's to someone in the media asking her that question. I'm genuinely curious as to where the line is drawn in her eyes.

K1773N1988 7 months ago
@K1773N1988 Hell yeah....young people to vote Obama 2012!!! I am a psychic and I know the future. Obama will fix it all if we get another term...Trust God and Jesus. They hate the conservatives as much as we do!!
God loves Obama!! We will get our taxes on the rich, we will get out of debt, we have a dream, and only Obama can make it come true!! Liberals have a president that “they” can NOT assassinate like J.F.K. now. We shall overcome there slave driving Fascist Reich!
MyFishyWishy 7 months ago
@PatriciaCookFind1 We are living in the Bush depression... Tax breaks for people who don't need it, pointless wars, severe cuts to education, zero attention paid to real problems like social security, medicare, and infrastructure for 8 crucial years. The economy has actually been improving since Obama took office, he's actually doing what he said he would, CC reform, Health Care reform, it's just too bad the repubs are so afraid of doing things differently they don't let us do what's right.
AliburX 7 months ago 12
@AliburX it's not the rebulicans won't let the majority do what's right, it's that the republicans refuse to even join the debate. The number of filibusters was at a record high by the republicans. Obama wanted, and tried to enact change, and as a response the republicans threw a tantrum in the corner crying, "It's nor fair!"
TheHomelessCripple 7 months ago
@AliburX It's Regan's, Bush's, Clinton's and then Bush's fault. All of them contributed. In reality it's mostly Alan Greenspan's fault and he's was chairman of the fed for twenty-one years. From Regan to almost the end of George Dubya.
ExSaint1379 7 months ago
@ExSaint1379 Yeah, I'd have to agree with that all in all.
AliburX 7 months ago
@AliburX Are you delusional? He spent like 4 trillion dollars in his first 2 years of office. I didn't like bush at all, not one bit, but he spent around 1 trillion dollars in a period of 8 years. Do you like, not watch the news? Why can't you be unbiased and just look at the facts? Some people are just too close minded to realize that republican and democrat is just a word, so stop blaming everything on one side. Take your biased bs somewhere else.
NickmickRs 7 months ago
@NickmickRs Causes of debt increase: Revenue declines due to the recession, separate from the Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003: 28% Defense spending increases: 15% Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003: 13% Increases in net interest: 11% Other non-defense spending: 10% Other tax cuts: 8% Obama Stimulus: 6% Medicare Part D: 2% Other reasons: 7%[65]
Sure looks like it was the recession, wars, and Bush tax cuts that are creating the biggest portion of the prob. Hardly OB
AliburX 6 months ago
@AliburX Where did you get this information from? Link me please. Regardless of who spent more money than the other (which I'm positive Obama has), it's both of their faults. They're both puppets to the same regime of people that got Kennedy killed. I think it's time that you look at things unbiased, because fact is at the moment, Obama isn't doing a good job. He won't get re-elected because he's failed to prove to most people that he can take charge of the country. Sorry I had to tell you.
NickmickRs 6 months ago
@NickmickRs en(dot)wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/United_States_public_debt - You'll find those numbers from the Pew Center, released April 2011. The New York Times is also quoted as giving Recessions or the business cycle (37%); Policies enacted by President Bush (33%); Policies enacted by President Bush and supported or extended by President Obama (20%); and New policies from President Obama (10%).
I also disagree with the kooky conspiracy theories. Repubs are the problem, not Obama
AliburX 6 months ago
@AliburX You can keep thinking that one side of all of this is responsible and the other one is in the clear, but it's not. Bush increased the debt from 5 trillion to 10 trillion in 8 years, and Obama increased it from 10 trillion to 14 trillion in just two. Both sides are at fault on this. Open your mind for once and consider "kooky" conspiracy theories, if you actually do research about some of them you'll find it disturbing of what the truth is.
NickmickRs 6 months ago
@NickmickRs You can keep taking that one statistic completely out of context and try to convince yourself that what your saying has any meaning.
AliburX 6 months ago
@AliburX If you want to play that game then, fine. I said in my previous comment that both sides are at fault. And the data you gave me was correct, so I admit I was wrong in some areas. All I'm saying is that open up and stop being one sided to everything, that gets no one anywhere. Thanks.
NickmickRs 6 months ago
@NickmickRs Fair enough. I do agree with that sentiment to be sure. I'm not a democrat or a republican, I am, and always have been independent and I have voted for candidates from every side of the isle. I actually watch them debate on the floor of congress. Although I honestly do believe, after watching the debates between congress people myself, that republicans are creating a bigger problem.
AliburX 6 months ago
@AtheisMisReality Keep in mind, we don't all think like that, and those of us who are here fighting the ignorance and stupidity are trying very hard to make things better. You are correct, the religious beliefs seem to be at the core of 1. Rejecting education in general. 2. Holding onto incorrect beliefs even after they have been proven false. 3. Flocking together like mindless idiots to promote/deny causes without actually understanding them... I don't like it any more than you do my friend.

eatinginfants 7 months ago
@eatinginfants, here are some of the disappointments from Obama -
1). No public option - and a very weak change in health care.
2) Lobbyists have more influence than ever.
3) We have more troops abroad than under Bush.
4) The counter productive "war on drugs" continues with gusto.
5) Military budget actually INCREASED.
6) Ineffective stimulus. Very little infrastructure.
7) Contracting NASA.
judoyodan 7 months ago
@judoyodan All that proves is that it doesn't matter who becomes president. Our so called democracy is an illusion, put in place to make us feel like we have some control. The government does not run this country, the corporations do. It's terrifying that the richest minority would knowingly sacrifice the future of mankind just to make a buck. They are nothing but murderers thieves and genocidal maniacs. These people care more about money than their own children's future well being.
DeathBYDesign666 7 months ago
@judoyodan Obama's really just working too hard to compromise with the republican agenda in an attempt to overcome our paralyzed bi-partisan divide. It's difficult when you represent the party of diversity. Democrats are less likely to vote as a unit, republicans always vote as a unit because they encourage the sheep behavior. Just look at any voting stats in congress... Repubs always vote exactly the same, there are always some dems who have independent views because they actually try.
