wow you're annoying. If the Neotanks are removed, what on earth can combat the megatank, short of another one? Neotanks were the cheap buffer between MD tanks and the Megatanks. Besides, they're not "noob tanks" in any sense. They're expensive, but you get what you're paying for.

The Neotank is still stupid. Cost weakness isn't a consistent enough one. There's a reason why expensive units like MB Tanks still have non-cost weaknesses.

@MasterKnightDH Agreed. Advance Wars would benefit from both engineer units (for upgrades and what not), as well as specialty units (for setting up traps/sniping e.c.t). These types of units would further the strategy of the game. The sad thing is, I doubt we'll ever see another Advance Wars game :(

@Samsasrenjet I wouldn't worry too much about Advance Wars dying out. After all the series has been around since the NES days. I guess that because it isn't Nintendo's center piece; like Mario or Zelda, they can afford to let it rest for longer periods of time.

@PoIaris The thing is, you don't see people going for strategy games these days. Not only that, but the portable market has shifted entirely to 99 cent games. Its sad to say, but the marketable niche AW filled is now obsolete. DoR was Nintendo's Hail Mary for the franchise, and it didn't succeed financially. AW future is grim.

What would be ideal: Nintendo starts developing portable games for phones!

No, this is from World in Conflict... 1- The icons on the right (really small), represent the heavy artilary (or MLRS) in WIC. 2- The heavy smoke from the MLRS is also in WIC. Idk where you got Panzer tactics from...
