I think the daft punk soundtrack was awesome, but Tron Legacy did need at least a little of the Wendy Carlos score included.

Both are incredibly moving scores.
This first film is all about the awe and wonder of a new world. And the love of friends uniting to save this new world.
The new film is all about the sorrow and danger of a dying world. And the love of a father and son reunited both of the worlds they know and love.
More importantly, a father saving his son.
Both are beautiful.
