Excellent tent. I have just bought one and went camping this weekend. I have uploaded a video of my daughters inflating the tent which took them less than 4 minutes and they are only 9 and 11. It gave me quality time to crack open a can of cider and relax after the drive. Click on my name MrGlennsvideos to view the video
12 years to develop? really? Despite other company's such as Nemo having this tech on the market for a few years which is strangely also named "Airbeam" technology.
I have just brought the Airbeam 600 and used it last week for 3 nights.myself and my wife and a 3 year old and a large german shepherd. put it up in about 6 minutes you just peg your 4 corners and inflate then its up then just go round after to continue pegging in then your guide ropes.My family loved it it does what it says on the tin, expensive yes but after a drive i did not want to be messing around with poles. Will be getting the awning for next trip. although good amount of room.

hi been to check this tent out and i think they have just re-invented camping i remember back in the 70's there was a small igloo tent which had blow up tubes great idea then even better now but 650 quid a bit steep but if it's chucking down with rain and you can erect it in less than 4 mins well worth it i want one now.............
Cost aside, my only concern is how reliable the construction of the air beams are compared to conventional poles (which are much cheaper and easier to repair/replace in the event that something breaks - again, cost aside, would you take the air beam feature over a conventional pole tent? Or is the weight difference too much to bear? (you'd have to rethink your strategy if you're considering carting a 6 person tent on your back while hiking...)
Couple of things to think about. I would struggle to get my two kids n wife to corfu for £650. and I doubt after using that £650 holiday you could use it again the following year without having to fork out another £650 :)
I have another problem the price £650, its a tent for gods sake by the time i,ve bought a set up I could go to Corfu for that. I'd pay £400 for it but not not £650. I thought camping was supposed to be cheap!
looks like a nice tent, i'd only have two problems with it, one being the weight, for hiking and light weight camps it would be a bit on the heavy side compared to other tents of the same capacity. the second being the pump, the pump is pretty big and if you are using a rucksack to carry the tent it would take up too much room. but part from that it looks like a brilliant tent.
@MrGlennsVideos thanks for the comment, have added your clip to my fave's just go's to show you how easy they are.. childs play infact!

You sure Vango didn't rip off the idea?

Camping can be as cheap as you want it to be,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Unlike Corfu, but if your really willing to give me £650 to go then I'll think about it.

@yeeyeeyeeyee1
I get your sentiments, its very pricey.
However compared to a package holiday its still cheap and can be used repeatedly so not a great comparison.
I would however compare it to an Outwell Montana 6 tent that is a good quality tent yet less than £500 so not sure how these are so expensive.

They will be doing smaller versions also. Little 2 person with small porch area at the front.
But again you have the issue of the pump..
