Pets have a special place in our hearts. I know i love my Shelby (dog) and don't know what i would do without her. She almost died about 4 years ago. My active dog would just lay on the floor and not move. Thankfully she made it...after many trips to the vet and over a month of treatments she pulled through. I can still rememer the other pets from my childhood. Some will always be special and like yours will be wagging their tails in heaven waiting for us.

Me N my boyfriend just lost our dog to a hit and run just last week and my boyfriend is away in BT for the army and he doesn't even know yet and its going to be so hard to tell him because that dog was everything to him it was like our daughter and now she's gone just like that..

what a beautiful story and a beautiful friend you had. I too have felt the hurt of my dog dieing before his time. My Dad always told me that we should never say goodbye. just see ya later. or see ya soon. but never goodbye. My Dad died this last March and i said See ya soon Daddy. couldnt say goodbye. This is a most perfect tribute to Hunter. Bless you all for the Hollidays and for ever.
