@northsiderollers What color is this escalade? Is it white diamond tricoat? And do previous models have that nice lower grille at underneath the first one like the 2009 models and below?
I have a question, and please anyone can feel free to answer. I am thinking about buying a Cadillac Escalade ESV, I personally prefer the platinum edition. Does Cadillac Make these particular vehicles every year, or do they make them after a certain amount of years? Please let me know the answer. This is a car for the men.
@mandunya - They've had a platinum edition every year since 2005. I'm not sure how many your local dealerships have on hand. You might have to have it special ordered. A friend of mine has one. Its probably the nicest SUV you can buy. They are totally redesigning the 2013 Escalade. There are some images floating around the internet but they look like concepts rather than acutal production model pics.
@haroldmbrathwaite escalade has a bigger engine and has more style plus the ESV version has more room and on the flip side escalade was built american so it should be easer to fix thats just my thought oh yea and i wish i was you right now

i've had my 07 escalde for 4 years..it has 86k on it and i have never had a single problem..the best part is that this car makes alot of people mad..the kind of people that no one likes...racists, and racists with no money...
To all you people saying that because this vehicle is American made that it has poor reliability. That is totally wrong, in fact the Escalade almost has the highest reliability in it's class only after the Japanese while the Range Rover has the worst as well as the Germans.

@MrOskar159 i have an 08, and the only thing i had to fix on it so far was the back door. Something was stuck, and it wouldn't shut automatically, but the dealer fixed it for free. Other than that, no problems up to 65000 miles :)
I totally agree with you. My 2010 Escalade is not even one year old but it has 14+ problems (door handles popped out, headphone broke, squeaking and rattling EVERYWHERE) American cars are pieces of crap. HGet a BMW or MB and it will last forever.

Grotesque looking! How could this ever compete with the new infiniti QX56 which cockpit makes you feel like you're in a private jet, or the Lexus LX570 which gives the feeling of being inside a million $ computer? Not a chance!... Cadillac urges a redesign.

@FreeMason34 What the hell? It's more expensive, not cheaper! The Escalade starts at $63,160. The LX570 starts at $77,755 (rebadged Land Cruiser), but it isn't even a full-size SUV. The QX56 starts at $57,200 and Infiniti vehicles have crappy quality...
Very nice truck, but for my money I would go with the 2011 QX56 and get high quality fit and finish. GM is notorious for rattles and squeeks like the center console hinge on this video. If you're spending this much on a truck, you don't want to open up your glovebox or console everytime just to be reminded you could have had a Tahoe for $25-30k less.
i think the escalade and the navigator tie, because the navigator is good if you take it on long trips, haul the family around 24/7, and need practicality. the escalde is for that guy or woman who is like near the top of the corprate latter, lives in a six person house (even though there the only ones living in it) and has no family, and wants to look tough and stylish. Cadillac class and style, Lincoln, comfort luxury, and practicality
my dad's lease ended on his '07 Escalade, so he got a very unique Escalade. the dealer had taken a white Escalade EXT and given it the platinum interior with the heated/cooled cupholders and all the platinum goodies, and even gone down to the small "Platinum" badges. they don't make an EXT platinum from factory so his is pretty unique! why do you think a Navigator is better? they're kinda ugly.

@iPhoneAppReviewer. I used to own a 2007. Trust me it´s not a good cars, not reliable, if anything. And yes it gets sold more than Lexus or Infiniti, simply becasue it´s way cheaper than it´s ¨rivals¨.

@FreeMason34 What the hell? It's more expensive, not cheaper! The Escalade starts at $63,160. The LX570 starts at $77,755 (rebadged Land Cruiser), but it isn't even a full-size SUV. The QX56 starts at $57,200 and Infiniti vehicles have crappy quality...

Very nice truck, but for my money I would go with the 2011 QX56 and get high quality fit and finish. GM is notorious for rattles and squeeks like the center console hinge on this video. If you're spending this much on a truck, you don't want to open up your glovebox or console everytime just to be reminded you could have had a Tahoe for $25-30k less.

i think the escalade and the navigator tie, because the navigator is good if you take it on long trips, haul the family around 24/7, and need practicality. the escalde is for that guy or woman who is like near the top of the corprate latter, lives in a six person house (even though there the only ones living in it) and has no family, and wants to look tough and stylish. Cadillac class and style, Lincoln, comfort luxury, and practicality

my dad's lease ended on his '07 Escalade, so he got a very unique Escalade. the dealer had taken a white Escalade EXT and given it the platinum interior with the heated/cooled cupholders and all the platinum goodies, and even gone down to the small "Platinum" badges. they don't make an EXT platinum from factory so his is pretty unique! why do you think a Navigator is better? they're kinda ugly.

@northsiderollers lol Escalade over Navi all day any model, because the most expensive brand new navi @58-67K you can get for cheaper than the cheapest new escalade trim at 70-130K , + the escalade sales are like 1,000 times the Navi, the Escalade is totally a much better car than the Navi
