Pearl sounds quite good. Energetic, intelligent, and most of all, *very* cute. If I were to criticize, though, I think maybe she sounds a little *too* young. She's supposed to be like 8 or 9 and to me she sounds more like 6 or 7.

That pause at :38, I'm guessing Pearl's VA ran short on breath at that point. Otherwise, you've found a great voice for Pearl. It sounds like a little girl would sound, and I think it would oddly work during her explanations of the Magatama, too.

well, if you bothered to read the info section, I wasn't available to run lines with the kid playing Pearl so my associate SuperSheba took the liberty of doing so. I plan to rerecord Phoenix's lines eventually and mix the two together.

If you ignore the stuttering and stammering, that sounds PERFECT!!! For some reason, professional dubbing companies seem incapable of giving child characters good voices, and I think it's because they never let actual children do the parts. I could listen to Pearl all day long if she actually sounded like THAT! And I've listened to a lot of fandubs, so that's saying something. Will someone please tell SuperSheba's little sister that she was perfect for the role?
