  • Thats a dam nice build. I just finished my first JTM45 and mine looks like a dogs breakfast compared to yours. Actually, I was shocked when mine worked when I turned it on. Love your attention to detail and neatness. The JTM45 is such a nice amp. Awesome job!

  • I built of of these great jtm kits in 2006-7 It has recorded flawlessly since .runs some of the groove tubes kt-66, wish I had another set no mods that I can remember now .great tone with lp or strat/

  • Very good wiring. It pays off.

  • Wow - beautiful job. Love your attention to detail and clean work.

  • Yes Hiwatt are very good.

But I do jtm 45 but I'm just one problem, the jtm 45 and has three transformers in the schema of a single meeting ceriatone: /

  • Hi I wonder if I can get the schematics. I am to do the final project and would like to make this jtm 45.

Already a thank you and good movie.

    Respects

  • @FabikoF Go to Ceriatone and click on the JTM45. Under the pictures there's a link that says layout. Those are the schematics.

  • @JimmyPage968 Thank you! :)

Also, I was watching a 'metroamp' I can not seem to be good is to arrange the layout for the power to buy.

    Greetings

  • @FabikoF Well i had just assumed you were looking for just an understandable schematic. But, oh well. Personally I'm going to go for a Ceriatone amp. I like the Hiwatt models though. They have a more raunchy tone.

  • do you sell or make the chasis holder

  • that must of been a very fiddley job doing all that wiring theres loads

  • Very nice work I'm interested in !

Could you please tell the references of the power transformer ?

  • What is the wattage on this kit amp?

  • so this is a kit one buy and DIY?

  • Yes, I built.

  • About that chassis holder. Did you make it? Great video.

  • Thanks biggerbigd. I made it by my self.

  • Nice...thanks for the vid..

  • Thanks klepetar.

  • WAS IT DIFFICULT?

  • Superb video with VERY appropriate music!! Thanks!

  • Thanks tenorbanjoguy .

  • Did you build or buy your amp frame jig?

I'd like to buy one for my future amp builds, if I knew how to make or where to buy one. Thanks...

  • Amazing, I wish I had the money to buy one and put it together. I bet it must've been fun putting it together, how long did it take you?

  • Thanks foolintherain10. I took about a week for building.

  • WOW - love this vid. I'm seriously considering this project. Thanks for the inspiration!

  • Thanks Yeadaki.

  • It would be cool if you could post some examples of someone playing the amp.

  • Please check my video "Orville SG 61Reissue Metroamp JTM45"

    Thanks.

  • i heard that orville's are better than gibson themselves, oh and does it sound like a real marshall

  • It seems he uses Valve Art tubes that have been especially selected for this type of reissues !

  • Nice job !

Where does that expression "beano album" come from ? I'm really curious to learn it.

  • Hi,

Beano refers to the album cover from "Bluesbreakers, John Mayall With Eric Clapton".

On the cover photo, Clapton is reading a comic book called "Beano". I'm not familiar with it, but could be found in Britain only, maybe. World class guitar tones made there put early Marshalls on the map, Cheers!

  • I'm about a breath away from getting a kit but I was wondering if you found any pitfalls you weren't expecting during the build and were there any instructions that were a bit unclear. What's the good word?

    Thanks!

  • I think that a manual is perfect and very easy to understanding. If you take time and read a manual carefully, and ask on a Metroamp forum when there were questions, I think that you succeed in amp build. I built it up from only a manual and the use of a Metroamp forun without trouble and was completed.

    Have a happy build !

  • Thanks, toomuchblues,,I will take care to get it right the first time and I think I'll get the 100 master vol. model after that.

    Continue rockin' on!

    Cheers!

  • nice idea to show the whole way of building the amp.

  • wow! it seems this not first time to you.

  • excellent wiring work man and I love that jig you use to hold the chassis!

  • Thanks slobluez .

  • Your chassis rotisserie is AWESOME, bet you could sell those one ebay all day long. I need to build one, im tired of propping the chassis up with books. Nice lead dress as well!!

  • thats the song ritchie blackmore got an made into ,, lazy,, blackmore is the very best ever,,

  • Steppin' Out by John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers when Clapton when was with them. It's the "Beano" album.

  • Why is it called the "beano album" ?

I own it and like it a lot but ?... Yes I'm not a native english speaker...

  • Clapton is reading a Beano comic book.

  • Thanks a lot. I'll die less stupid.

  • whats the song playing in the background?

  • Nice job! GRAT!

  • Nice Job! I can't wait to get mine. I am still saving pennies however.

Where did you find that ultra cool jig? Did you build it? I want one!!!

    Thanx for sharing.

  • Thank you.

I built the jig. I referred to NY Chief's jig in MetroAmp Forum.

  • Nicely done...heater wires look like licorice!!

  • Thank you. Your Metro and R8 has very nice tone !

  • Very nice!

  • I have seen your JTM at Metroamp forum. Very nice looking build and cool block Logo !
