Thanks for the video. I've been dealing with acne for seems like forever. I know I'm not the only one but its nice to actually hear other peoples stories. By the way you are really pretty.
my skin is freaking out. i had really good skin, until around april and i've done and tried every thing, every product out there, eating healthy, detoxing etc... right now i'm taking acne-d, which is a supplement/vitamin. my acne is worse! i'm hoping it's just purging all the bad stuff from my skin and will get better.
right now my skin is at it's worse and i'm so self conscious about it. i don't even want to go out it's so bad. thank you for sharing your story!
Being told you will have a skin disease for the rest of your life is not encouraging nor does it have to be the truth. The American Institute of Advanced Medicine has confirmed methods to destroy the symptoms of acne from your body for good. There is no need for acne sufferers to live with painful, puss filled pimples when the answer has been found and comes with a 95% success rate. Everyone deserves healthy and clear skin, this includes you! Check out theaiam.com
You talked about not judging those who've got skin problems such as adult acne, and I could not agree with you more. I've struggled with a minuscule form of adult acne since I was 19 and before that my skin had been perfect. I was more careful and adamant about taking care of my skin when my skin was worse and yet people would still tell me, "Oh, you should wash your face every day." As if I'm not already doing that? Don't judge people!
@MonroeComplex Yeah people would think that I was careless and didn't take care of my skin. But sometimes the people with the most amazing skin don't even wash it! They're just lucky! :) Judging people is defs wrong!
I agree with what you said about how we wash our face twice everyday and acne still happens... its quite frustrating when my friends see me and ask "what happened to your face!??!?!" =/ and it sort of made me teared at the end of your video =(. I've been wanting to see a dermatologist but my mum insist that the ointments they give will cause my skin to thin and blah blah blah... sigh
@purplydreamz You should definitely try going to a dermatologist! Acne really is just a combination of many things! It's not just as simple as "wash your face". I actually used to feel so sensitive if people talked to me about my acne too but now that its clear I feel really liberated! I am glad you could relate to this video! Never feel like you're alone in the acne struggle! It sucks but there is medicine/creams out there that can help! (it won't thin your skin either.)
@babyLixian guess what! i told my mum that no matter what, i will see the dermatologist to see what is wrong! =] i am going to book an appt! so excited haha.
I also used to see a dermatologist and now looking back it was a waste of money. I was prescribed various creams and pills. They took a few months to clear up my skin (as expected) but for me creams and pills were just a short term solution. After 3 years I decided to stop using them and after a while my skin basically returned to how it was before I took them. Its probably different for everyone but I hope that seeing a dermatologist won't be a waste of money for you.
do u put your acne stuff be4 or after moisturizing? Ahhh I have to go back to the derm. doc cuz differin & a whole other crap didnt work for me-my skin is soo oily that no acne medications dries it up...
@aileenitzel acne stuff after moisturizing. yeah differin acted weird for me at first. and then I think the dermatologist upgraded me to retina-micro which is more drying. So maybe that will work for you.
but now that i'm out of my teen years my skins is less oily and I am back to using differin. :)
@alliinwonderlandx Yay me too! The Differin actually took my skin some getting used to. But Duac is a miracle worker! :) Even if it makes my skin burn in direct sunlight (sometimes) hahha
i find this so amusing because i know about the acne treatments being a pharmacist and all.. hehehe :P
just make sure you use lots of moisturizer because benzyl peroxide and adapalene (the active ingredient in differin) are designed to dry out the skin and dry skin can be really uncomfortable as you probably already know ;)
i agree with you on the liquid foundations...i broke out from at least 5 different brands! i can only use powder :( does the neutrogena cleanser have acne fighting meds like sallicylic acid?
@jessika344 it has no acne fighting meds b/c the gels that my dermatologist prescribed to me have all the acne fighting ingredients (i think its benzol peroxide?) So if I use any salicylic acid my skin dries up like a prune and it seriously starts burning like crazy if I'm in the sun. So be careful if you mix your acne fighting ingredients! :)
Wow. You are so gorgeous

Thanks for the video. It's good to see people with acne being confident and such like.
Unfortunately acne, as we all know, is a complete bitch and lots of different things seem to work for different people.
