  • weird masks

  • They used to creep me out but I remember watching this and it was so cool! This was my favorite counting sketch.

  • my worst nightmare this one always give me the creeps. =(

  • The most bizarre beauty pagaent Ive ever seen haahahahahah AWESOME!

  • 12 was always my favorite. love that kick they do! ^___^

  • i loved the music in this video, it was awesome. im from new orleans so i rather related to it.

  • Most of these masks creep me out expect the one who is holding the number 9.

  • lol number 10

  • SUBLIMINAL MESSAGES ANIMALS!!! LAWL.. JOKE

  • I wish they showed more of those numbers and masks. They're my favorite counting segment.

  • Also 5, 13, and 15 have on similar type of long garment.

12 and 20 move them same except that 20 doesn't do that conga kick thing.

10 and 19 to me move roughly similar yet its still in their own unique way.

Why am I telling this. Well I pretty much like how they move. Kinda like a weird little marching band. Only they just hold numbers and the music is being played for them. XD

  • I've noticed some interesting things I'd like to point out. Most of you probably won't care but I'll point them out anyway.

1 4 7 and 18 move the same way. 3 and 16 are very similar but they don't move their feet as high. However 6 move just like 3 and 16 but this one kicks its leg kinda high.

2 11 and 17 move the same. 8 is similar except its legs are higher and 14 kinda stomps as it moves

5 13 and (my favorite number) 15 move the same. 9 moves just like them but its legs are bendy.

  • Anyone know where I can find the full version of the background music. I love it it's addictively catchy

  • Music by Revolutionary Snake Ensemble! Sax and love!

  • I played this for my 20th birthday :3

  • @TotalBrawlsland oh sorry about that bad comment

  • This video kinda reminds me of how carnival in my country looks like. There's a guy named Brian McFarland who creates crazy costumes like that for Trinidad Carnival.

  • where's 21-100? (maximum number of these things.)

  • @SwiftCracker i don't think it goes that high. 20 is as far as the'll ever go in sesame street

  • @SwiftCracker sesame street is not soposed to teach kids how to 100 they wont understand it

  • @kalpavrksa1 and they'd get bored after a while because it would take forever

  • this music used to scare me.

  • I always loved the jazz kinda - New Orleans kinda music in the background!

  • I always loved the jazz music in the background!

  • I have a video for 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 (20, I have, but it's already posted) but I can't put them on YouTube because of copyright issues.

  • 1:10 When the #17 came, it sounded like they said 70.

  • neat!

  • I used to be so scared of the masks...but the MUSIC used to scare the shit out of me :( actually I still don't like it. The music used to remind me of an evil carnival, and the squeaky high pitched sax I used to think was a carnival ride squeaking :S I tell a lie actually, I used to love the leopard/cheetah thing, I thought he was an Aztec

  • MARDI GRAS!

  • here is what i think they are: 1. a cat with long hair 2. a gorilla with a helmet 3. green-faced dancer 4. hmmm... looks like a skull with tiny eyes 5. a man wearing a dress 6. red-faced guy 7. a cheetah sticking his tongue out! 8. a jolly guy 9. a flower 10. a monkey 11. baphomet (according to Iseeyoursoul) 12. weird animals with long ears 13. a magician
  • 14. a guy revealing half of his skull

    15. a chocolate head with hair

    16. a zebra

    17. a guy saying hello/goodbye

    18. a lion

    19. three-headed ram

    20. looks like clay pottery!

  • @leehsin001 The 20 guys are more like GLADIATORS

  • no 13 does not really look like a magician to me.. it looks like a housewife with facial mask and curl pegs on her hair... no 4 is more of a mutant monkey/dinosaur

  • this isn't scary at all... this was one of my fav skits/shorts as a kid.

  • when i was a little kid this was scary

  • you know what? its very easy to dress up as mask 13... all you got to do is apply facial mask on your face or put lots of foundation, then use those face painting brush and draw the eyebrows and the mostache, put some eye shadow(if you want to),apply lipstick, last but not least put those curls pegs all over your head... wear a dress..

  • Oh my lord! I remember ALWAYS waiting for 19 because it was an awesome dragon!

I also remember all of these being not weird at all XD

  • I remember some being weird and some of them cool. Like 9, which is a flower.

Is 10 supposed to be a monkey?

  • @HantoKah Yeah what kept me going was what number cause they only used it if it was a big number.

  • i'd laugh at number 9, b/c there r all these weird creatures and among them comes a flower. 12 is funny too

  • I remember being a small child and laughing my head off at number 7. LOL.

  • what year is this from?

  • I don't know, but I think it's from around 1993-94.

  • Thought I heard someone start to say something at the very end.

  • Any body scared of 10 and 19?

  • Yep! pretty much all of them really :0)

  • for some reason, it reminds me of Mardi Gras! the music i mean!

  • Parade of Numbers

Animated characters with miniature masks for heads march across the screen carrying numbers, to the mardi gras music of The Revolutionary Snake Ensemble. Kids' voices by Ben Kusiak, Emma Child, and Jeff Rovanelli. This segment also appears on the Sesame Street videotapes "One Two Three, Count With Me" & "The Great Numbers Game: The Best of Sesame Street's Classic Cartoons" in case you want to march around your living room on your own schedule...

  • cheers for uploading, i was wanting to see this for a while :)

  • What would this sound like in slow motion and sped up?

  • nxt time should hav dis 4 project runway

  • I hated it when they stopped at the days number. it is always best all the way through.

  • thank you for this video I love this one.

  • I actually heard this piece of music played in my local 4th of July parade. Does anyone know the name of this piece?

  • These always freak me out!

  • Well, the cheerful-sounding music and the kids saying the numbers out loud lessens the freakiness.
