  • "An insurance called preparedness!"

    o i c wut u did thar.

  • Piling hay along the sides of the building for a bigger risk of fire?

  • ladies and gentlemen...presenting dorko the marionette!

  • The wail - WAOOOOO! XD

  • were all 1960s farmers actually retarded puppets?

  • That puppet is creepy!

  • Buelah, peel me a radioactive grape.

  • :47 "in an emergency shelter your livestock then take shelter yourself."

    Not gonna happen.

  • 2:10 Ha puppet boner

  • creepy puppet

  • That puppet got some poker-face -.-

  • @Shagron1349 he's Lady Gaga's grandfather and I'm sure sings better than her, also :-)

  • HAY does not protect from radiation. -.-

  • Just Duck, And Cover!

  • @LstoftheAmericanGrlz yeah thats gonna help. more like duck and BURN

  • Yes, hay really gives a propper protection from atomic radiation. Why shouldn't it?

  • I find these american NUCLAR WUR POPAGANDU insanely hilarious. Fuck, I had no idea in the event of nuclear war that I should stack newspaper against the walls and thats just gonna stop radiation. In think lining my walls with Lead would do a better job.

  • "peeling inanimate objects makes them safe to eat". WTF?! Fruit is the living flesh of the plant that it comes from. Also we never see this family. I do like the point of using the ice cubes from the freezer and the toilet cistern. Yes you can use the water from the toilet cistern since it's fresh and hasn't touched waste matter. It's also usually decently sealed too with very thick and heavy porcelain (or a porcelain like material) around it.

  • 1: get in your car

2: run for your F*CKING LIFE!

  • you should save all these vids

  • i wonder if family survival plan would sell in ebay

  • @2submit It probably would but seeing as most people would have disposed of such topical stuff, it would be extremely rare and probably cost a bomb. Pun fully intended

  • at 37 it looks like the pupet starts dancing off the screen

  • Comment removed

  • Don't worry, the radioactive mutant farm animals will probably be in charge.

  • eating fruits that got dusted in fallout dust is safe as long as you peel it? WTH!

  • A puppet....how appropriate.

  • And now back to Survival Under a Nuclear Attack (edited for rednecks)

  • @ 5:18 LMAO

  • @ 5:18 LMAO

  • Fire, flood, or Indian attack!?!?

  • I wonder what the budget was for these films? two dollars?

  • @hplexmark1 Buck and a half, I'd say...

    That is one sick-looking cow!

  • lol, that's just what I was thinking.

  • @hplexmark1 2$ was a fucking fortune back then!

  • @BobCrane787 it still couldn't make a good movie though.

  • @hplexmark1

That was a lot of money then! XD

  • Smegma? Lol didn't hear anything about that.

  • I see how it is, all the urban films are made with humans and are made during the actual scare. The rural ones are made 10 years after the fact with a puppet. They tell us to protect the animals first, and to top it off they have the puppet fall down the stairs. Comical though

  • Radiation cannot make it through a bale of hey - who knew?

  • why do i feel like they are lying..

  • well, if that poorly crafted puppet can do it, so can I!

  • Don't worry, the cows will be fine. They will just evolve into Bramins.

  • lol that'd be sweet

  • 5:18 DERP

  • This is a great video indeed! A+++ Pay attention to this video!!! The information contained in this video could save your life in the unfortunate event of a nuclear attack! Unfortunately, the left wing U.S. government does not a REAL Civil defense program! Never depend on the LEFT wing U.S. government to protect you! You will have to protect yourself and your family too! You can do it!

  • very true. I'm no atomic scientist but I am aware of certain facts/myths of nuclear warfare(and its side effects). People tend to believe that a nuclear attack renders a city a wasteland for all eternity. In reality, Hiroshima and Nagasaki were both repopulated not long after WWII. As far as the fallout is concerned, it all depends on if you live downwind from potential target. Knowing wind patterns is also helpful. The other side effect of a nuclear war is EMP (not a problem for amish country)

  • Niot only protect them, but watch what they eat!!! XD

  • Interesting that the government no longer warns the public about nuclear war. It is survivable with a few preparations. The russians know this and are continuing to prepare for a first strike on the west's military facilities. Go to worldaffairsbrief D O T c o m and click on the "strategic threats" link.

  • What makes me angry is people just sit down and say "It's not survivable"

  • Did the government really believe this stuff? Were they THAT clueless? Or, were they just trying to make people feel like they had a chance to survive a nuclear attack?

  • Am I the only one SERIOUSLY creeped out by this?

  • ...and radiation makes your cows look reeeeeally bizarre.

  • But I'm sure they provide great meat for the survivors of a nuclear attack

  • indian attack.. were called native americans dickholes lmfao

  • epic

  • I also heard fallout can be rough on the lawn and deck.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to invest in a deck sealant and some astro-turf to keep your yard looking healthy!
