  • THIS really is The Best Boeuf Bourguignon Recipe! Looks easy to make and sounds so sexy. I almost regret winter is over. Gotta give a try anyway. Thank you for posting!

  • What a sexy video. The music alone made me want to try this recipe lol Thanks for the upload!

  • Love that pot, and the music and the beef look delicious! Who sings that song?

  • Music is awesome, recipe is good too

  • Where did you get that great looking trough of a dutch oven pot?

  • Yum. A follow on to this video: Go running for an hour to burn off all the fat calories!

  • olmost same as coq au vin but you juze chicken

  • Very nice. Marinating the beef is a good idea. I use red wine in my stew to give it a delicious flavor and rich color. Hope you'll take a look sometime. Boeuf Bourguignon is a great dish that tastes even better as left overs the next day. Thanks for a great video!

  • Hey what about the 3 tablespoons of butter mixed with the 3tblespoons of flour to make the paste that goes into it after you put the meat back in the pot ??????

  • Wow.... absolute wonderful vid. Love it.

  • What is the font that was used in the video?

  • Music is terrible

  • No browned braised pearl onions? They are my favorite part.....

  • great video, gonna try this tomorrow night, what wines best?

  • I saw bacon and I'm like F*** YEAH.

  • @IanHoYuenErn YEAH BRO WHAT ELSE U SEE

  • What's the title of the song?

  • FRENCH ONION SOPP

  • Sorry if this is a noob question, but do you eat the garlic the way it is in the pot, or do you remove the skin and just eat the cloves? I just made this tonight and it is delicious!!!

  • Looks fantastic. How handy - the ingredients listed with a video - how can I possibly screw it up? Thank you!

  • I'm French and I have never seen a bourguignon prepared as that

Yet, it's look like very tasty !

    well done

  • The song is L'Anamour, from Gainsbourg. Interpreted by Gérard Depardieu I believe.

  • Sounds like a Serge Gainsbourg song. Is it?

  • I made this night before last. It was amazing!

  • @farflungfloyd HELP cant find ingredients amount

  • @princessofvisconde The list is in the video description. (click on the "Show More" arrow below the video.

  • @farflungfloyd Thanks alot

  • I made the recipe last night. It came out expectacular...thanks. so much!

  • What's the song?

  • I'm just making this recipe right now. I don't have thyme, so decided to use a little bit of oregano instead.

  • That looks really perfect. Super tantalizing. Thanks for such a precious recipe!

  • The wine is the marinade.

  • @manskils

it seems like this was a recipe handed down...looks good

  • Lovely video. Would have liked a bit of info on the marinade (just says "add marinade"?!).

  • what is the namee of the song? and is there other frenchkind of music that would be preffect for cooking like this? thnx you :)

  • What kind of red wine do you recommend?

  • @citizen000011 burgundy...durrrrr LOL!

  • Muy buena presentación, música excelente y por supuesto un boeuf a la Bourguignon para "chuparse los dedos". Bravo

  • lv the music, the pot n all.

  • @teat Umm, please don't slam on something that you do not know of or have tasted his recipe. Unfortunately you are blinded to someone else's style of cooking... which is fine. Julia Child is a brand name... sorta like Martha Stewart. They both are not regarded to be the End All of any recipes out there. Besides Julia Child is an American doing French cooking. Plz remember: a recipe is a happy accident that has been documented so that we may repeat the results. Manskil's recipe is simple & good.

  • @barfman7767 Actually, Julia Child's recipe is even simpl

  • this looks super recipe, well done, love the music, love life watching this video, the only thing i might add is that after adding the mushroom i would consider it done, the 2 previously hours in the oven should be enough.Thank u for sharing!!!

  • Oh man looks so delicious Im gonna goto make mine!

  • Love this video! Simple and straight to the point, no need for talking... everyone seems to talk too much in other videos. Everyone seems to try to glamour it up... because Julia Child made it and that movie? Sheesh! No need for the fufu... this video sums this up as simple and tastes fantastic! Natural and pure with lots of sweetness from the shallots and onions, heavenly taste! One thing though... where is the salt? Also, what is the music's name?

  • Grazie!

Please, will you tell me the song artist.

I'm making your dish this week.

  • Je vais faire ca pour demain, 14 persones, ca vas etre rigolo...mais je vais bien rigoler et boire du bon pinard....

  • I just discovered you, while surfing the net... you are amazing! keep up the good work, I subscribed to your network:)

  • love the song!!!

  • This looks delicious - and a lot simpler to make than other versions I have watched. And the recipe is provided, too. I'll certainly give it a try!

  • Excellent! Thank you :)

  • wow! amazing... looks delicious .. i have to make this! yum!

  • Oh god, I wanna eat the whole thing right now. Especially the ultra cool swedish dish. Excellent vid.

  • looks so good...nice job on that one...

  • wonderful recipe, i tried just today

i enjoyed the music and the instructions

    merci

  • Looks like less pans than the regular way.... I would like that song as well, is it on itunes?

  • amazing!!

  • Can you please tell me the name of the song?

  • tell me the song >.< or i shall destroy you O.O lol

  • i looked around other sites for the recipe. i like the way you used shallot instead of pearl onions and added bay leaves, they will really give it a smoother flavor. I also saw that you cut down on some of the steps. I'll use the recipes only for numbers, but i really plan to do it your way, although ill be tossing that beef around in the flour to give it a good crust.

  • Hey I just tried this a week ago, awesome!! It was so delicious and my party loved it!!! Thank you so much!!

  • Hmmmmm.nice !

  • I love this song

  • Lovely video! I'm vegetarian so make a "Mushroom Bourguignon" recipe and am quite inspired by yours. The ingredients in your recipe are well balanced, the music is perfect, and the level of video professionalism is exceptional. Thank you!

  • It's just beef stew people, there's nothing OMG about it. For those whose culinary taste only ranges from hot dogs to burgers, it is indeed gourmet food. Peasants. But I grant you it's a good recipe and better than J Child's.

  • @tenjacks98 "But I grant you it's a good recipe and better than J Child's." Here! Here! People who have followed Julia Child's version and posted videos has too many steps and uses too many pots. I think somehow people seem to equate a overly complex recipe with a brand name(insert:ala "Martha Stewart") associated with it is equal to awesomeness. I think NOT, each recipe should be judge by its own merits, not by a personality. Generally a recipe should be simple, good & can be repeated easily.

  • Why don't you tell us the amount of ingredients ?

  • @calinutza33 Read the information for the recipe.

  • @manskils It's like cooking in a rain gutter!!

  • @manskils

    No S&P?

  • OH MY DAYS YOUR VIDEOS ARE WEIRDLY SENSUAL AND SEXY...LOL

  • all I have to say Is " Bon appiete" great video!

  • looks great but whats up with oil and butter at the same time? for me the rule was always butter or oil

  • BRAZIL! Simplesmente MA-R-A-V-I-L-H-O-S-O!

  • That pot is to die for. Do you think I can use beed shank?

  • @0000000Lara

    No, not really.

  • @0000000Lara Beef shin and beef shank are two different words for the same thing.

  • @0000000Lara The pot **is** awesome. But I would be happy just to have a gas stove.

  • I've just watched three or four bœuf bourguignon videos and this easily looks the most amazing. I suppose it really is the best!

  • VIVA LE FRANCE.

  • Nice,, like the recipe, how you made it, and the pan especially. Want to sell it?

  • wow this looks amazing!! so glad i found this vid im defo making this :) thankyou

  • you've got to do more, manskils. you have an impressive knack for the 2-3 minute upload. music is perfect as well.

  • Wow... that's a challenging one

  • OMG thank you, so easy to follow and you did a great job with the video. I try it and it was amazing!

  • Oh --

Merci pour la recette ... le c'est si bon et donc facile!

  • Do you have more recipes?

  • Do you have more recipes?..I love the way you format/edit this video

  • thanks for sharing the recipe and I like the song too (French ?). Ditto to Voiceranger2 on the cool baking dish. Best,

  • Where did you buy your baking dish? It looks really cool~

  • It's a 70's swedish casserole dish. You might find one on ebay.

  • @voiceranger2 It actually looks very similar to a Terrine Mold used for making Pate'. Never the less, it obviously works well for this recipe!

  • What's the best cut of meat for the Boeuf Bourguignon? and the best type of wine?

thanks you're fantastic! If you're married she's lucky if not I'm available lol!

  • I used shin of beef here (it's got a great flavour) but any stewing steak is fine. As far as wine, traditionally you are supposed to use a young, red burgundy. Any red wine is fine. It depends how much you want to spend, but don't use any wine for cooking that you wouldn't be happy to drink.

P.S. She doesn't think she's all that lucky!

  • What was the name of the song that played in the background?

  • foil would be fine to use, just make sure it is tightly covered and perhaps check now and again to make sure it doesn't dry out.

  • can we use foil to cover

  • Superb!!!! thanks for sharing! keep it coming!

  • Well done, bravo! 5*

  • thanks very nice

  • Sexy video. Makes me want to bath in boeuf bourguignon!
