Perhaps you're thinking of another track they did called Nocturne, which uses the same sound as this track and does have a female singer on it. It's on Youtube so you can check it out. If it is the track you're after, you can get a cheap second hand CD or vinyl on discogs.com.

You wouldnt have heard a ONE OFF version of anything on top of the pops back in the day... It was all lip synched so the kids only heard the real single version that they could buy in the shops or hear on the radio....
