I gave a ride to a Chinese person one time and because it was starting to rain So I took him to where he wanted to go as long as he would put gas in my car, so at the end of our journey he kept bowing good by to me so I would bow back to him, I guess it was his custom to do so. But he was very grateful for the ride

You know when I greet people I sometimes bow down ( who cares ) Maybe he has done that all his life People from India do it to me when they greet me, not all but some do. So to me it's no big deal, It does not prove anything

As an Aussie..this is very strange. I could send a youtube video and say
"Obama sneezes again"...has about the same amount of relevance. In Asian culture you bow...its called respect. Now you have a leader who actually shows respect to other cultures and countries.
