Bloominton is just about the last town around here that has them from what I can hear. We pretty much are infested with 2001's and whelens. Bloomington and eden prairie have ACA's as well, and Lakeville has a system of 1000T's.
Honest to God, I can hear it the best from my house only when it's in attack! That low tone penetrates so well, it's amazing,I can hear it better than Eagan's 2001's and they're only about a mile away while this thing's across the Minnesota River. I think it's going just below the cutoff frequency, 128Hz on the low tone would be it for high sound output.
There could be a Severe Weather Outbreak some time the first weekend of April 3rd 4th but i don't know if it will be a big one or not a couple of Severe Storms or a large outbreak i heard this on KARE 11 this morning it is a long way out so things could change so just want to give a heads up on this for users in Minneasota perferably living in the Minneapolis St Paul Area the Thunderbolts both 1000Ts and 1000s and 2001s could go off for real before the 3 tests next month

Is this the building in Appletree Square? The giant golden one? If so I worked there for a few years. o.o Grew up about 4 blocks from there.

I disagree. Timer setting is WAAAAAAY off. Wind up is way too short and wind down is way too long.
