@sallysblues Like every other singer/songwriter, entertainer or performer in this country (USA), Tom Paxton had his time on top with fans, hit songs, big concerts and, I presume, a certain amount of personal fame and fortune. Unfortunately, none of this lasts forever; there's always a new crop of singers coming up to challenge the veterans and grab a share of their audience. Few folksingers have been able to remake themselves over and over, like Bob Dylan, and stay even close to the top.
@sallysblues Pete Seeger is another survivor of what Utah Phillips called the "Great Folk Scare" of the 1950's and 60's. The rest remain trapped on LP's and in the memories of "Old Folkies," like me. Thank God for YouTube and the generous posters who provide us with treasure from the past.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO UPLOAD A BETTER TOM PAXTON VERSION OF THIS SONG!

The sound of this video was recorded from the audience still with a mono sound.
You have the buzz from the 2nd speaker.
If you listen to it in MONO format the quality will be much better.
This can not be reloaded unfortunately )-:

This video has an awful buzzing sound that ruins the whole thing... could you possibly re-upload to fix the problem? Thanks

Went to a concert a few years back and this jackass wanted to make it political, I got up and walked out.
