@magpief it actually is from a fans perspective. my mom wrote it back in the 80's, and sent them a fan letter with this song in it, asking if they would play it for them. and thats what they did. but my mom and her best friend (my aunt), they wrote it together, never wanted to take credit for the song, becuz they didn't actually think it would happen. and it did.

I always loved these two, not just because they are woman, but because they rock! I had the privilege to see them in the mid 80's and they were so good. I always admired Nancy because she can play as well as anybody, male-female -martian. She just rocks!

These fine ladies have been my inspiration since I was very little! my mom was a big fan and I grew up on them. In fact I sing occasionally(it's been a few years since I did a demo, etc.)and Ann and Nancy are the primary reason I took it up! They are also from the Pacific Northwest like me!!! Sorry Courtney but it takes alot more than changing a name of a song to steal the song. I know Ann and Nancy and one thing I know about them is they have far too much dignity to steal a song. I'm in the biz and If it were your moms and aunts song and all heart did was change the name your mom would be so rich it would not even be funny. It is not as easy as changing name of a song. Ann wrote this song about nancy and Roger fisher was still with the band when this song was written. NIce try.

amala8u2, I dont mean any disrespect but this song Bebe Le Strange was about all the groupies (like myself) lol, mostly female fans that were writing Heart letters and telling them what an inspiration A&N were because they were one of the only female fronted Rock bands. That's why the lyrics say " Got to be you read my letters not your hired hand" The overzealous groupies were hoping the letters were getting read by Ann & Nancy and not just being read by an assistant.
