  • Ma'at hotep, I luv this, th-ankhs

  • I agree with you about the sun being beneficial to our bodies. Society teaches that the sun is bad for us, but that is so far from the truth. They encourage people to put on some chemical-filled sunscreen, which prevents you from taking in that vitamin D. Without enough vitamin D, the chances of getting cancer increases and so do other diseases. Keep educating the people about the benefits of the sun. Thank you.

  • The sun is our friend. Like you said, it is super important and I will try my best to remember each day. My diet has changed and every morning, I notice I'm flocking outside to eat my meal and then I go about my day. Also, if my meal is too cold, I let it sit out in the sun and oh my goodness, awesome!!!! You are beautiful thanks for your sharing your sunlight.

  • I live in a state where it's so humit that as soon as we step outside we sweat lol

  • "My hair is a CANVAS, and I'm about to work it". Funny. Sister I'm glad I clicked on her video today. I used to tell myself beautiful affirmations as I looked in the mirror. I used to do it everyday. But as soon as you talked about thoughts and telling yourself you're beautiful, it dawned on me that I hadn't done it in ages. At least a year. I have been under extreme stress as of late so somewhere during that time, I lost my way. Well, you reminded me once again. Thank you so much. SUN!

  • You are so right, the sun always...and I mean always like gives me energy, I feel better, think better. All the time. I can't wait to be in the sun tomorrow.

  • love you

  • You are beautiful sis! Drinking up the sun is so important! Thanks for sharing your routine! Bless!

  • Thanks for posting!

  • I think people are starting to come together on this idea of the sun being a source of health instead of the big scary thing that science and western civ wants us to believe. I mean of course you use common sense but it is how we can expand our awareness and consciousness - those rays like you said penetrate the skin organ and scalp and provide us with much more than most realize. Good luck with your journey...

  • Hey Nubia,

I enjoy the videos a lot. They are very helpful. I am definitely looking forward to your book and demstration of Green Smoothies. Finally, I appreciate talking to you by telephone. I will remain in contact.

    Peace/Love/Light...........Ceylon

  • You have the most beautiful skin!

  • thank you for this reminder. i plan on sitting in the sun for most of the day this weekend. my mind/emotions/feelings seem to improve when i get adequate amounts of sun.

  • wow, love your videos- we live by the same philosophy...chakras cleansing, green drinks, sun, what and who you put in your body ( yes sista)- it took me 39 years to get there, but I made it. Thank you so much for sharing- we have to talk soon..Blessings

  • Funny you should mention those working in offices all day... I used to RUN outside during my breaks and to either 1) sit directly in the sun which felt WONDERFUL, or 2) sit in the park in the middle of the trees so I could feel at one with nature. I loved hearing birds chirp. Those things allowed me time to decompress and recharge. Thanks for reminding me to get out more!

  • @bd10232003 I used to do the same thing when i worked a "regular Job". Thank you for sharing. I thought I was the only one. Keep on getting that sister. Ashe

  • I think you should go all the way and chop it ALL off... I think it would bring out your cheekbones and eyes...

  • @Preciouslocs579 Thanks. I am really thinking about it! Thanks for the encouragement. Peace and Blessings

  • B4 I had my son, laying out in the sun was one of my favorite things to do. People cudn't understand it, cause I'm dark. I never cared, but I did let motherhood pull me away from the sun. Now that my son is older, I'm beginning to enjoy the sun again. Thanx for stressing the benefits of the sun!

  • where are you from as in state? it looks hot where you are?

  • thanks for sharing the knowledge and love. sitting in the sun for awhile sounds like a plan to me. i think me and my little one will do that today. i homeschool her and you have me in the spirits to do a self care day today.

  • Thank you dear sis! just watching your vids brings peace & love.

    Have a wonderful weekends.

  • Okay......THIS STYLE IS HOT ON YOU! You look so beautiful. I like the natural short fro and I like this one too. I think this one is my favorite because your skin glows even more and your eyes pop! I don't know, hell, you can wear it all.

  • @MIRRORMIRRORTV I so agree, I was thinking the same thing.....showing even more of herself, she is......simply radiant!

  • Do you work with crystals? Can you show us what you do if you do...

A note about the sun. I have a friend that says that the sun breaks her out. LOL..I think it is the toxins coming out of her skin.

  • @azurretown Part 2: To help your friend tell her not to wear any sun screen because it prevents Vitamin D creation and have her take the following supplements two hours prior to Sun exposure; Saint John Wort, Cod Liver Oil, Krill Oil, Spirulina and eat foods rich in Astaxanthin. She’ll thank you later.

  • @azurretown Part 1: What do you need to know about crystals? As for your friend it may not always be toxins, but rather a tremendous nutritional deficiency. Having a deficiency will cause an integumentary inflammatory response when exposed to the UV rays. For example UV rays alone do cause skin cancer; it is when a person has a nutritional deficiency that the actual rays will destroy the underlining cells.

  • It looks really good short like that.

  • Lovley video, I pray for the day the sun shines here in chicago its been nothing but gray days.
