No way to tell what it does without an A/B type comparison, i.e. comparing with/without. Amazing that they wouldn't realize that.

It's also strange they make such a mystery of it. Like does it use a battery? Or does it have 2 km of spring-metal inside? I certainly wouldn't buy something like this without knowing a lot more.

Nah, it's a box you can mount on an oud, a guitar, a mandolin - anything and it will basically create a reverby sound while playing unplugged...
