other videos teaches to just hit the outer shell of the fruit with the back of a spoon sends the seeds tumbling out much faster and didn't bruise one single seed!

That's a typical American geography lesson about a Spanish fruit.

It's a fruit that grows well in the Caucasus and the Near East. It's not Spanish it's mostly Arabian/Armenian/Azerbaijani.
