[REVIEW] Focus comparison Tamron 70-300 VC USD

I bought this lens about two months ago - I needed a reasonably cheap tele lens, got it just two days before a trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar; it went through a four - day - safari, tropical rain and a climb to Ngoro-ngoro. If you've been to African savannah then you know that this is the toughest test for any photo gear. And Tamron passed it with ease. Quick and near - silent AF, sharp pictures even on 300mm (from f6.3) and solid feel make it the best investment I made this year.

somehow seem like there's not much difference at all between the Tamron 70-300 VC USD and the Tamron 70-200 f2.8... only difference is the 70-200's focusing motor sound...

I just bought this lense and had some shots with my Canon EOS 60D last weekend, I personally find it produces very sharp and pleasant-colour photos.
