It all depends on where they are fighting. If they were fighting in a magical place such as near Hogwarts, Harry would win since magic would cause interference with Optimus's electrical circuits, thereby disabling him before the battle even starts.

If they were fighting in a Muggle area though, Optimus would probably win just because the normal hexes probably affects humans but not machinery, unless Harry has some major rusting spell or something....

Okay, it seems like most people voted for Optimus prime because of his size, but Harry beat a dragon in GoF. Granted, Optimus is immeasurably smarter than your average Hungarian Horntail, but I'm sure Harry could find a way to stun Optimus Prime and summon his firebolt to make a quick get away, if necessary. There's also petrificus totalis, which would freeze and contain Optimus. It all depends on where Harry hits him though. OP's metallic surface might deflect hexes...

Hm.... I really dont want to answer this in a technical manner, BUT... in all honesty, Optimus would beat the crap out of Harry Potter, as most of the magic ive seen so far within the HP world is all human killing/harming stuff, which wouldnt as much as tickle Optimus. Secondly, Harry can only fight at short range, typically 15-50 yards, while Optimus could blow him away at about 150yards to damn near half a mile. In addition... jeeze, I can go on forever with this...
