  • i will probably have to request like almost ALL them items.. except like tofu and fresh produce.. and soy milk.. to which I am afraid of trying.. I tried soy chocolate milk once and it wasn't that great..

  • Very Informative!

  • not a vegan at all but this made me curious.might try these out if i can find these things

  • I would ditch the Boca, Morningstar, and Gardenburger products... they contain GMOs. Go for the Gardein, Sunshine Burgers, or Amys no GMOs and delicious. Having soy everything is not ideal either. Fruits and veggies are so important and healthy. Nuts and seeds are good too. I guess I can see for transition using some of the mock products in the beginning.... But its much healthier to stock up on the fruits, veggies, nuts/ seeds than all of the soy and egg replacers. Better yet, make your own!

  • if you dont like meat why pretend your eating it?? and i agree about the comment about the soymilk they usually use soybean with genetically engineered soybeans which grow with pestisides already in the seed .. i just watch a doc about it i know it sounds nuts but its true they use roundup

  • beware of the substitutes!! not gonna lie, i love them, but they are crazy high in salt and they are super processed. so only eat them once in a while as a treat. even some soy milk products are sketchy because of they way they are processed. be careful fellow vegans!

  • If you want to eat vegan, go for it! I support you! It's very likely one of the healthiest ways to eat! (I'm currently considering it myself.)

But here's an issue I have with vegans, especially those who are so protective of animal rights. Why do you feel the need to find "meat substitutes?" If you're so against meat, and choose to eat fruit, veg, legumes, grains,... then just eat them. Why do you feel the need to make fake meat out of it? Accept your choice and don't dress it up.

  • Well I Think if u still can enjoy some flavors and textures you like and not harm any animals ,why not use substitutes...

  • @wheresmylife The main reason for being vegetarian is to avoid needless suffering of equally conscious beings. When we stop eating meat we stop killing animals and our goal is 100% achieved. There are no victims in a veggie burger. Therefore there is no problem. So what is your motive in telling someone how they should or shouldnt prepare a meal in a way that caters to their own personal taste buds when no suffering is involved? I really want to get this....

  • Great great video!!!! I had no idea that there was a vegan substitute for seafood. Thanks for posting this!

  • I am having a graduation party for myself. Where can I go to buy a vegan cake?

  • have u heard of or tried hemp milk?

  • Make certain that when you're buy: things to look for milk, eggs, egg whites, casien or milk enzymes. I have seen these in many soy ("vegan" cheese and yogurt). Stonyfield Farms got me and so did Morningstar. Check your labels!

  • I got a bucnh of little silk milk in vanilla and chocolate today

  • Cool. Try almond milk too. Soon, I'm going to upload a video on how to make your own.

  • animal products take weeks to years to process?? wtf?

men is omnivore by its nature... cmon

but i agree that what we have now, killing so many animals and eatign too much meat isnt good.

  • silkchocolate<3

    o soy yougurt<3

what a good mock meat to start iff with?

  • @Gabbyxxzz Boca Burger, Boca Chick'n patties. Tofurky Italian Sausage or Boca Ground Burger.

  • @ingaambrosia I wish I know where to get it cheaper its like 3-5 for a box and I just wanna try like one first.

  • @Gabbyxxzz Go in half with a friend. It will be less than $1 per patty. There's four in there. You will like them. I would fry the burger and toast the chick'n patty. Sometimes they are on sale.

  • @ingaambrosia that only helps the price hahha its still the same food per money ratio....

  • @Gabbyxxzz: If you don't want to eat meat, why are you eating things that taste like meat? :-/

  • I'm vegetarian right now but I'm planning on going vegan soon...

  • @Airsoft4989 That's beautiful ... :)
