In France, this animated series is a success, it created unprecedented audiences for a cartoon. I invite you really watch this version of "Little Prince", about 30 episodes have already passed in France (one story = 2 episodes, sometimes 3), and I think for once, the creative teams have done a good job, while fully respecting the original work of A. St Exupéry... Open your eyes, those who don't like, It's simply excellent !!!

Yes, the book is wonderfull. Yes, the message can not be expressed throughtfully on an animated series.

Matter is: It's not going to.

This cartoon is a re-imagining. A different take on the story aimed towards audiences that are not familiar with the book. Besides, what's so bad about animating it? It has quality, at least.

I don't know what the hell they are trying to do? Please leave him alone, Little Prince deserves much more than a - I'm sorry- silly game charater . That book means a lot to me, and everyone else who has cried when read the last pages.

This goes completely against the spirit of the original book. This does nothing to capture the introspection, the commentary on society, or the prince's battle with depression and his eventual suicide. Leave the book alone. Saint-Exupery would be ROLLING IN HIS GRAVE.

the main qualm I have here is that I don't like the animation. it should be drawn. that would capture the essence of the book. and this CG doesn't even look well done. if you're doing The Little Prince low-budget, don't do it.

I think it would be best to try to enjoy this as being completely separate from the books. As its own thing, this actually looks pretty good--nice quality and everything. It's when you begin to try to apply the themes of the book that the problems begin. His voice is cute, though. lkjfkldsfjs

I do worry that it will not do the book justice, though rarely can anything do a book justice. At minimum, it will lead many children to read the book for the first time and discover the magic and beauty of the original. Those that think this series will somehow ruin the magic of this book for people, like me, who cherish it so dearly, obviously have such a weak opinion of the book that they believe some animated series could ever ruin a classic.

I keep rewatching this. There's a sense of foreboding, an epic and grandiose adventure waiting in the wings, on a scale far greater than AAA Hollywood could hope to deliver.

The book is way better than this bad try to continue a story which should be left the way it is.
