Since his first appearance, he had been improving but even if that is the case, he's still amongst those mediocre comedians and he is inconsistent at best. He certainly has his moments but it was a very poor decision for the producers (though I'm not sure who is responsible) to constantly hire him as a guest loads of times before he became regular. :S I wanted Milton Jones to be a regular; he'd have been a much more popular choice! :D

So it was stay and be the same as he usually was, or leave and find more work where he could be as risque as he really wanted to be. Mock The Week says they'll take him back any time - but he can't be any more risque than he was before
