sry to break this to u the 360 is the best console of this gen, wii is fun and hence y im getting this game on the wii, but dont take the wii too serously, because developers don't, take the new prince game, the 360 pc and ps3 versions are the same, while the wii,ds and psp versions are the same. read that carefully WII, DS, PSP, you know why? because the wii simply doesnt have enough juice to run the console version. never the less, if you dont enjoy a casual game then ur nuts lol!

is this Virtua Tennis better than Gran Slam? I played Gran Slam and although the gameplay look ok enough, i tought that it was a little to arcade! Players are mesured by stars, and you dont have full acess to their individual skill and so...and the graphics look to cartoonish too! All this helps to feel like an arcade tennis game!

VT2009, u can use standard, but that is just that stupid bar u c he's usin, u can use wii motion plus 2 actulli do swingin and stuff, but it absolutely crushes wii sports tennis. U use real players or create urself a player 4 career mode, u canmove about, aim ur shots. It's well kl!

I'm always so dissapointed in tennis video games, no matter how well the game is made, it just can't compare to actually playing tennis in any way... ^_^ I have no interest in a tennis game when I can play tennis in real life. I'll buy a tennis game the day when they actually find a way to make it better than the real thing.

The music can be turned off, the blue bar showing the direction of the ball can be turned off, the difficulty for this video is most likely on "Easy" or even "Very Easy", so you can turn up the difficulty so they will hit the ball instead of run with it. The trail behind the ball cannot be turned off, the graphics are good, it's just the video quality, you can use the nunchuk (not recommended), all these answers are for without Wii MotionPlus, the only way to put spin on the ball is with Wii MP.

it tells you where youre shot is going, based on the position of the sliding bar in the gauge.

There are 2 ways to play the wii version. The first, the regular way, uses a bar. You swing when the line is where you want it. The other way, is with wii motion plus. There is no bar.

The Wii version is far more realistic then the next-gen ones. Not in the terms of graphics but in the next-gen ver. players run like Usain Bolt across the field. Just isn't realistic enough.
