@BboyTyrell you dont jailbreak it with cydia, you jailbreak it with blackra1n or spiritjb (i prefer spirit because its 10x easier), and then you get cydia on your ipod. And from there you can do endless amounts of badass thing with your ipod including getting a ton of paid apps in the app store for free. And yes you can turn it off. Jailbreak at own risk though, it is illegal.

@TheZyclonestick i have more than a hundred jailbroken apps (installous apps) and 50+ upgrades on my 16g ipod plus so many songs and videos and stuffs saved ...and it pretty slows down your system ...but not on playing music videos and basic apps ...it only slows your installous, cydia, the way your apps loading and it slows down when you reboot it ...it worth it
