Great to see Conklin's career has rebounded. He took a lot of crap for that goal. After that, he was awful for us in Columbus - he seemed to have no confidence in his game. He seemed like a great guy though and I'm glad he played great in Pitt and is now solid in Detroit.

for those of u that say ty conklin is a bad goalie, u should rethink ur prospective. the first thing id like to rub in ur faces is his save percentage. .928, best in the nhl. cam ward? sry i couldnt even find him on the list. conklin came in relief for fluery, and won 10 straight, with 3 shut-outs. conklin is among the best currently in the nhl. its when u hear that that u should think, maybe his defense could have helped prevent that? maybe its just bad chemistry with that team. think about it

Actually, Roloson tore his MCL after Bergeron drove Ladd into him. A torn MCL is NOT an injury that ANYONE can recover from quickly enough for Roloson to have played the rest of the series.

Jussi Markannen didn't seem to have too much of a problem in stepping in. And Conklin I think is to blame in this. If you listen closely it sounds like Pronger or Smith are yelling at Conklin to "Get In Net"

And Yeah, Markannen wasn't on the back of Conklin's jersey, and it is a shame, because Makannen is 10 times the goalie that Conklin is. It amazes me how Ed Belfour is going to be playing in Sweeden, and Ty Conklin has a contract with a legit contender in the NHL.
