After having done anything from Pop to experimental noisecore and voiceover screams for I am Legend, this is the most logical consequence for Mike Patton: Italian Schlager! His singing style is made for sweet melodies which are much sweeter if sung in Italian. Plus it is not as petered out as singing Frank Sinatra songs. Congratulations Mr Patton! Although he sometimes seems to roll the R a little too hard (which would be more appropriate for Spanish as my Italian friends told me once).
