I'm a serious doubles player myself, and I'm comparing our techniques, and I see that aside from the fact that you're a LOT more precise than me (which is to be expected since while I can CLEAR all of those but Maxx Unlimited I can't combo any of them reliably) I see that otherwise we play basically the same way. I notice you play more on your heels, especially on the down arrows, where I play more on my toes. Is that just a matter of accuracy?
Also (and I tell this to everyone but NO ONE LISTENS...), go easy on the speed mods. Slow things down so you can see the oncoming patterns and shift your body weight ahead of time. It's a rough investment but it really pays off.
I've been playing doubles since 3rd Mix. *laugh* I'm used to 1x. I'll take 1.5x or 2x on single but I stick to 1x on double unless I have a reason for it (i.e. bag).
I've just always been more of a for-fun player so I've never put a lot of focus into accuracy -- I've done 2 goods on Paranoia Double Maniac, that's about it. (Though I used to be able to do MAX300 Double Heavy consistently. I'm out of shape now.)
I'll try with my heels a little and see how it goes.

Major kudos on your skill. :)

Heel play is twofold -- helps conserve stamina and my calves don't take so much abuse. Accuracy... helps a *little* but not too much.
Keep playing, because doubles never gets boring. Ever.

Apologies to my friends.
