I want to respond to bagumbax, It's me who feel sorry for you, someday you will eat those words and see a love and peace that will escape you. If you read the Bible without any idea of a "trinity" you will see that there is in fact none. It's an insult to God to say he is equal to anyone. Jesus told his disciples that he did not know the time of the end. He only knew signs of the end. As for the exact time and day he said only the father knew. Are you saying Jesus is a liar? If he and the father are the same then he would knew the time of the end.
When Jesus asked when the conclusion of this system of things would be, He said in regards that only "The Father" knew. Can I know something and keep it a secret from myself? I think it highly unlikely! Jesus' words at John 8:17, 18 are also significant. He states: "In your own Law it is written, 'The witness of two men is true.' I am one that bears witness about myself, and the Father who sent me bears witness about me."

Jesus is in no way equivalent to His Father. Jesus himself said that he came to do the will of the One who sent him. If Jesus and God was the same person, then who resurrected Jesus. Or are you saying that Jesus wasn't really dead. And if that is the case, what good is the ransom that he provided for us. Jesus surely is not the same as his father. JOHN 8:42,12:49. The bible is very clear in the fact that only God is to be worshipped and that prayer is to be directed to the Father through him.

actually jesus is equiv. to God. Proverbs 17:15 statest that he who justifies the wicked and condemns the righteous, both are an abomination unto God. If Jesus is not God, then God is unjust. Either we pay the payment, or the just Judge does. God is three in one, or u can say, three in one. read all of romans 1-3. chapter 3 deals w/ this issue. so yes, the payment is dear unto me, God payed my fine, and God alone in Christ Jesus!

Actually the doctrine of the Trinity is not taught in the Old Testament. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob are mentioned together numerous times, but that does not make them one. Peter, James, and John are named together, but that does not make them one. It was only after Jesus baptism that God's Holy Spirit descended upon him. Jesus has a position higher than all other angels but he is lower that God.

If you read the Bible without any idea of a "trinity" you will see that there is in fact none. It's an insult to God to say he is equal to anyone. Jesus told his disciples that he did not know the time of the end. He only knew signs of the end. As for the exact time and day he said only the father knew. Are you saying Jesus is a liar? If he and the father are the same then he would knew the time of the end.

When Jesus asked when the conclusion of this system of things would be, He said in regards that only "The Father" knew. Can I know something and keep it a secret from myself? I think it highly unlikely! Jesus' words at John 8:17, 18 are also significant. He states: "In your own Law it is written, 'The witness of two men is true.' I am one that bears witness about myself, and the Father who sent me bears witness about me."
