  • This is tight!! Y'all r amazing!

  • great arrangement

  • that band was on point and the flags were hot as hell

  • i thought it was good they don't do that here

  • i so luv this video.....so hott

  • omg!!! this was so gr8! the flags girls at my school wouldn't b able 2 compete wit them...they r awsome...the band was str8...but the flags were AWSOME!!!...i luvd this video :)...keep it on here

  • I kno right??!! Flags are the best <33

  • They sound like str8 mellos

  • i dont hear no trumpets

  • That's because the trumpets are playing with good tone quality and sounding rich and mellow, like a trumpet should. They aren't trying to blow the horn off the bell and scream all over the place. That's why SMB sounds different from other high school bands. That's what we call a mature sound.

  • Right on. Thank for elaborating on that to other people because I hate when people say they can't hear certain instruments blah blah. Great intonation!

  • Is this a high school or a college?

  • It's a group of elementary, middle, and high school kids. In this video, the youngest is 9 and the oldest is 18...

  • Actually, I'm speaking about the entire band in response to the initial question that was posed on whether SMB was a high school or a college. Seeing how I was the instructor, the person who arranged this song, and the one that taped, edited, and posted this video, I know exactly what I'm talking about and don't need to be corrected.

  • what did the 9 year old play? That kid must have been really good to play with 18 year olds

  • He was on trumpet. This performance was in May, and he started playing in January. He picked up really quickly and having him perform with the big kids was the best way to reward him. Besides, the band doesn't hold auditions or have any prerequisite requirements, so it's less about talent and more about hard work and one's willingness to learn....

  • wow...That must have been great! i hope i get an opportunity like that one day.

  • Dey do sound good. A lil dead but good. And nice transitions to dem flag girls.

  • Very nice. I liked the flag girls routine. That would definetly be something my school would do but with more movement from the band itself.

  • We play this as well but a different arrangement. Nice job. MVSU tuba player

  • Exquisite. I'm very impressed. Good sound.
