Someone tell me about their experiences with CX cuz i'll be flying to HKG and NRT with it in two years. I flew EVA AIR and CI in the past SFO-Taipei but i'd like to try something new!

Did you try the in-seat power. I noticed it has the green light, indicating it was working. The flight I took from SFO to Hong Kong then to Cebu City, Philippines the in-seat power was not working on my flights. They must of fixed the issues customer service was telling me they were looking into.
I agree. I know when I flew from SFO to Cebu Philippines with a change of plane in Hong Kong the In-Seat power was not working yet on my flight. I did notice that their was working. I hope the in-seat power will be working when me and my wife go back in 2011.
cathay has 3 flights from new york to hong kong. 2 are non-stop (CX841 and CX831) and the other one stops over in vancouver (CX889) which departs JFK in the evening

I think those on the 747 (74A) Are not working . But while on the 777-300ER (77A) There is power.
Not sure about 34B/33B.

They no longer do YYZ-ANC-HKG . They use 77W now . YYZ-HKG direct.

That's CX 888/889 Via vancouver . They have a direct one between JFK and YVR
