haha if you guys only knew what i had in my possession: something like an autographed pic of Ron when his "it's almost like a song" album came out. along with a drumstick that his drummer used in a concert in midland, tx back in the 80s (i was about 11 or 12), got a tour of his tour bus, and the original videotape of "Lost in the 50s Tonight" jealous, yet? lol

@kenworth439 I was there and I don't wish that. Some things were better in 1973 but some things weren't. It was still a disgrace for an unmarried woman to get pregnant, for example. At least we now have ways to hear older music - we didn't back then.

They just used tape instead of hard drives, analog effects instead of digital ones. Milsap's recordings feature reverb, chorus, and compression. He double-tracked his voice and sweetened the tracks with strings and synthesizers. I think you're trying to talk about auto-tune, but don't know how.
