hallo rachel you must take it verry slow with the tabla the technic is verry hard to play .first start to get youre dha dha sound with youre right hand ring vinger on the dajan by holding it on to the maidan or sur good luck its a long way to go but it will be nice

Rachel, you need tougher hands to play the Tabla. Your hands are just too soft for this instrument.
