But Thai's always have an advantage because they are raised on Muay Thai from birth. Which is why a 15 year old Thai kid can push a much older heavyweight to their limits. Then again the average age for a professional fighter in Thailand is like 8-18 years old which is much sooner than in other countries. Especially here in the U.S.!

Dutch can do very well against Thai's. Look at Ramon Dekkers and Rob Kaman. They both won against tons of Thai's and they were considered the best kickboxers of all time but I'd also consider Samart Paryarakoon, Orono muang ubon, and Buakaw Por. Pramuk on that list with the best of all time. It's just a common trend that in heavier weight classes Dutch are more likely to be the champ and in lighter weight classes Thai's are more likely to be the Champs. Thai's are just naturally smaller people.

from what ive seen while over there the western women usually win against the thais, but the western men normally lose to the thais, this is due to the men training from a much younger age than the women the men normally start at 5 years old while female muay thai has only really been going for about 10 years now in thailand as a professional competition
