I didn't find the controls in this game to be clunky at all. In fact, I found them to be almost as smooth as CoD. This game mostly just has the illusion of weight.

Personally, I'm glad that Killzone 3's controls are smooth, I despised the clunky controls of Killzone 2.

There is a control setting called 'Alternate' for the game and it is basically Call of Duty controls. You really should've played the objective gametypes which are the life of the game. The later weapons are indeed memorable. The abilities are in no way cheap when you actually try them out.

In short, you didn't even give it a chance.

In killzone 2 the infiltrators are rather easy to spot if you know what to look for.

They allways look like the regular soldier, they almost allways carry the same gun (the helghast smg) and their name starts to flash if you get close to them.

They allso behave differantly than your regular team mates. That behaviour gets easier to spot after you have played as an infiltrator and encountered enemy infiltrators a few times.

The spawns in the game mode you are playing might be horrible but Warzone is the games main mode and the spawns in that are fine.  You have automated turrets that prevent the opposing team from getting too close.

best example of weighty soldiers is Team Fortress 2, if you played it for a bit. every class there has a mowement speed, some are slow, some are fast, slowest is 60% out of 100%, 60% is very slow running. so yeah, but that game isnt about run and gun but about teamplay and how well you can play the game...

The melee makes you vunerable while performing, it is powerfull, but not as OP as in CoD. You should hipfire also a lot more in CQC to medium range situations. The bots are meant for teamplay and defence in the objective gameplays. Spawn raping? Everyone is a lowlevel, so there are probably no tacticians with spawn nades. I spend many hours with Killzone 2 and surely I will with Killzone 3.

I thought the beta was satisfying. The controls had an obvious (to me) buff up from killzone 2. But what really gets me liking the killzone series are its campaign and bot mode. I love the killzone campaign. And the playing against bots mode is good too because online there are small aspects that get me annoyed so going playing bots is just as nice.
